Another great interview. Thanks Bob and Kristian. I wish the movers and shakers in this sport would spend more resources on getting young people interested. I grew up in Texas, playing american football and competing in rodeo. If you were a runner, and we didn't have many, you were not cool and didn't have a chance getting a date ! I would love to see triathlon as a high school sport so more people would have a chance at a lifetime of fitness. More than 70% of Americans are overweight, 40% obese and the Ironman world championship is not even nationally televised ! Terrible . We should leverage guys like Kristian, Magnus, Sam, Gustav, etc to attract more young people.

You landed the GOAT interview. Nobody has ever done what KB has done, same season distance crossover in the modern era at the top levels. Unreal. A short course athlete ranked #1 long course and it's not even his job. Long course is a side hustle gig for KB.

@@jonathan9506 Jan could never cross over all distances in the same season. Only KB, MA and Iden could do that at the highest levels. Many others better than Jan at long course too.
