So me being a muslim does not mean that I don’t believe in Jesus peace be upon him as a prophet and the savior at the end of times . It is actually one of the conditions of being a muslim . So in a sense, Yes we do celebrate all because it is simply part of our beliefs . All of them came with the same core message . I am a construction worker and I fasted every day. There were some days where I didn't sleep and one day I didnt even eat or drink for sahur and it was still possible to work hard and fast! And from that day I feel so much stronger and it teaches me that humans can withstand so much more than they think. If you really want it, you can do it! 💪🏼

You need to train your body for fasting. Even the muslims for the first 2 or 3 days they face some hurdles. When you can pass over 1 week you dont feel any problem if fasting have to run for a full year but islam do not allow.

From a Christian to another Christian, not religious or nothing but you did bring back good memories. I have been working & living in Asia mainly Malaysia and Singapore for the past 14yrs....it's been fantastic and I've worked with various Asian nationalities, I do have fond memories of a few Muslim - Malay guys - Hisham, Fuad, A. Rashid.....they were a pleasure to work with and I do remember Ramadan very well as practice it for a number of days, it was tough, however what I did discover is that were all the same, no barriers between us, just teamwork. I respect there thoughts and beliefs, I've been fortunate to be transferred over to Jakarta end of this month I can't wait to be with a new team of guys...As-salaamu-Alaikum!, all the best and keep the vlogs coming!

So good of you to try fasting! I reverted to islam in 2010 and been fasting since 2011. I love fasting when I am working. I feel so light. The headache you experience the first few days is your body detoxing. On the 4th day your body goes sort of in ketosis and it will get easier and easier. Whenever we are grateful we say Alhamdulillah meaning all praises to Allah. When something tastes good we say maa shaa Allah, Allah has willed. Before we eat we start with bismillah, in the name of Allah and end with Alhamdulillah. If we say something bad we say astaghfirullah. And if we are wowed by something we say subhanAllah. One tip,try keeping your dinnera light. Our prophet saws said fill your stomach 1/3 with food, 1/3water and 1/3 with air . But after a long day one tends to digg in 🤣🤣. Keep up the fast,maybe you can fasts the mondays,thursdays and the 3 white days of the month as well.

Respect. I am a christian myself living in Indonesia n Ive never tried that full day fasting lol. But as christian we are also opt to do our kinda free style fasting right hehehe and ive done something like breakfast on 7 am n eating near 4 or 5 pm .. and around 2 or 3 pm is the hardest cos i always got a headache, my body shaking n sweating screaming for some carbos lol
