Kristie, not a day goes by that someone wouldn't enjoy learning from you on how to make cards pretty and simple by using the card layouts that can be found on a number of websites. You're easy to follow along with and fun to watch you create your designs.

I appreciate that you continue to make some voiceover videos knowing how much more work they are for you. I find them about 100 times more helpful than simply watching someone make cards. Hearing you talk through design decisions and techniques really puts learning on fast forward for me.
@KristieMarcotte3 жыл бұрын
I try to post a variety of video styles since people prefer different styles. I do post more videos with a full voiceover. Sometimes I just need a break from voiceover and go with music in the background. 😊

Bumps in would be the negative version of the embossing folder and bumps out would be the positive!😋 I like your wording though… In one of my craft groups we challenge each other to come up with new words - kind of hybrid sort of thing. We call dry brushing (painting) “drushing”. Beautiful cards Kristie. 🌹Rosie of Oz🇦🇺 & 🐶Omega the Cavalier 🐶
@KristieMarcotte3 жыл бұрын
It's funny because I actually knew the correct term. But sometimes when I'm recording voiceover, words become hard. I've said right for left, purple for pink, and plenty of other oopsies. Lol! I've never heard the term drushing before though.
@ThorneyRose3 жыл бұрын
@@KristieMarcotte there’s always a new one!!!😋 it’s not caught on yet but we’re working on it. I often get the wrong words too. The more people (or cameras) that are around the more I’ll stuff it up!!! So you’re not alone. 🌹Rosie🇦🇺

@@ChrystalsChreationsWycoff Depending where you live, it takes about a week. It can be more though if customs decides to hold onto your package a bit. That’s happened to me several times. Kristie. First I love your videos and your cards. I know you said you get your cardstock at Joann’s do you just buy individual sheets to match the paper pads or do you buy the cardstock in pads as well and if in pads what brand of pads. (Just the regular cardstock, not the specialty). Thanks so much
@KristieMarcotte3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! 😊 I only purchase the individual sheets of cardstock from Joann’s. I’ll bring the paper pad to the store so it’s easy to find coordinating colors. I also wait for the cardstock to go on sale, then stock up. The only packs I buy are black, Kraft, and navy blue. I prefer Michaels cardstock packs.
