Whenever I try out of the ordinary fries for the first time, I always sample one piece without ketchup, to see how it tastes on its own. I've actually had fries that were so good by itself, I ate the whole order without ketchup!

Weinerschnitzel was the go to spot for my mom and I. Since then our eating habits have changed a bit but i did have the plant version without the bun recently. But I mainly loved the og chili cheese dogs especially the cheese. I tried the Polish and Chicago but the og was my fave

hey Krisite, thanks for the video. As an Austrian, I never heard of these places so it was nice to see. Also Wiener Schnitzel comes from the capital of Austria Wiener (=Vienna) Schnitzel. As a German-American I've never heard of Wienerschnitzel the fast-food place. But I have had the real thing before and it's amazing. As for Rallies, we have like 5 or 6 Checkers in my area and they are fairly solid and not too expensive.

This is the first video I've watched with just you in it. You do a great job and you seem fair in your reviews and you clearly appreciate food. Is it strange that with Wienerschnitzel I expected that the selection of food would perhaps be more oriented towards German or Austrian cuisine? I actually didn't have anything like a schnitzel bread roll, which is actually something you can often buy in bakeries in Germany for lunch. And because I lived in Poland for a while, I'm also a bit shocked by the Polish sandwich. At least it has nothing to do with Polish cuisine from the corner where I lived… and Poland has such a great cuisine ❤

@kristievskitchen If you liked that Del Taco then you will want to try the best Del Taco ever and there is only one place to go for that and thats where it all started the first Del Tacos in Barstow, California. If you ever driving from LA to Vegas make a pit stop in Barstow which is about half way between the 2 cities and try one of the 3 Del Tacos there. The menu options are different and the food is bigger and better. Those are still owned and operated by the same man and his family who started it all. Mr. Ed Hadkbarth can still be found working in the restaurants and greeting customers and once you try one the original Del Tacos nothing else can compare. You become spoiled by the experience lol.

Hi Kristie, I think I heard you say on one of your postings that you live in San Diego. So you will probably know the areas in the county.. We have a Rally's in Chula Vista and there is also one in Imperial Beach. I've probably only ate there twice since they opened over 15 years ago in this area so really not that impressed. As far as Der Weinerschnitzel, Chula Vista used to have two locations until they closed down the one in the central part of the city so now there is only one in the south. Love their chili cheese dogs and their corn dogs are good to. You have the option of getting all beef hotdogs too. Their ice cream is from Foster Freeze and if you remember, this used to be a chain and had their own fast food drive thru restaurants several years ago but merged with Der Weinerschnitzel. Glad they are still available because I like their ice cream better than Dairy Queen. The shakes are so good and every month they offer special foods and ice cream flavors to stay competitive with other fat food places. I also like Del Taco but the one in Chula Vista closed years ago. There is one near my work so will go there ...there tacos are so much better than Taco Bells, more hamburger meat, better spices and the crispy taco shells don't fall apart. You must live up north SD since these places are not offered there. Love your videos!

My favorite items at Del Taco are their quesadillas and their chili cheese fries. For breakfast I get the Bacon Toasted Breakfast Wrap with Orange juice. 😂 It's pronounced Ween-er Shnit-zel. The wiener was from Vienna, Italy. Just like the hamburger came from Hamburg, Germany. When I was growing up it was Der Wienerschnitsel. 😅 The fat fries are what we called steak fries. Maybe they used to eat them on the side with steak at a steakhouse. 😅

I get soft shell chicken tacos reg. size, 1/2 lb. bean and cheese burrito, macho beef burrito, and tamales ( when they have them ). Chili cheese dog, and All American dog are the only good things at Wienerschnitzel. Love your channel, your eyelashes and best smile ever. See ya next time!!!

Del Taco on Tuesday and Thursday have a 3 Taco sale. And my favorite thing to order is the spicy jack quesadilla with chicken and the chili cheese fries. But if I can recommend that you try a place called the Habit. An awesome burger place. My go tos there are the Teriyaki burger which comes with a slice of pineapple in it, the sweet potato fries with ranch, and one of their awesome ice cream malts.

When you go back to Del Taco, please try the grilled chicken soft tacos (so addicting) and the beer battered fish tacos (if made right are fire). Their Epic burritos, chili fries and regular fries are also good. Oh! And the shakes & caramel cheesecake bites 🤤😂 At Weinerschnitzel corn dogs are a must! Their lemonades are awesome too. Never had Fatburger 😢

Of the restaurants you've featured, I've only been to Fatburger. Triple XL - no lol. I get their junior burger with chili. They have fantastic onion rings. I haven't had their sweet potato fries but they looked good. Will have to try them. That sundae looked phenomenal.

I eat at del Taco every day. I get a bean burrito with either green or red sauce, a Chipotle chicken roller. Del Taco french fries when they are made correctly are some of the best out there. When carnitas fries are in season. You don't want to miss that.

We don't have the first 2 or the last in Northeast Florida, I tried a Del Taco breakfast on our trip out to the west coast, while getting the car fixed in Gallup, NM, had the toasted wrap combo. All the Rally's out here turned into Checkers like a decade ago, so I guess west coast gets Rally's and east coast gets Checkers or something, like west coast gets Carl's Jr. and east coast gets Hardees. I love the Rally's/Checkers fries but don't care so much about the rest, and you can buy those in the grocery store, so haven't been in ages. Thanks for sharing part of your day with us.

I haven’t had Del Taco’s breakfast but I think they are better than Taco Bell overall. Wiener schnitzel is definitely known for their hot dog items and I haven’t had it in ages as well. Rally’s was a Texas thing when I grew up and they had really good burgers and fries back then! Never had Fatburger though! Keep these videos coming! 🤗

I haven’t eaten at Der Wienerschnitzel in many years but it was a favorite lunch spot during my high school years in the mid 1960’s. I usually got the chili cheese dog with onions or, when I could afford it, the more expensive Polish Sandwich served on rye bread. It easy to imagine that things have changed in the 50-something years since but your video sure brought back memories. Thank you.

Also- I know you didnt love the Chili burger at Weinerschnitzel but you ought to to try them at Tommy's. MUCH better there. My advice is order a chili burger and regular fries and let the chili drop over the fries as you eat it. Tommy's serves their burgers with a thick cut tomato which really contrasts the saltiness from the chili well.

As a lifelong Wienerschnitzel fan, I will admit it's an acquired taste AND it lacks consistency. The hot dogs are definitely their strong point, but please make sure you use the coupons! Never had their ice cream, but that section seems to have thrived within the last 10-15 years, so it's probably legit. New sub here, apart from the obvious "you're good looking, beautiful, blah blah blah..." your vids are entertaining and your energy works... keep at it.

Fatburger opened in my town (Victoria, BC) over a year ago, they have 2 locations. I've has the XXL Fatburger but never the XXXL Fatburger (always get Pepperjack cheese with it), it's one of my favorite burger joints in Victoria, and yes there shakes are to die for.

omg the best things to get at Wienerschitzel is the chili cheese dogs, but it's one thing I miss from the west coast. Yes it's very salty but when I was a kid I loved it.
