When Carl said "I think she might be one of us," that was one of my favourite lines of this entire show. It has so much meaning in that moment (Carl accepted Michonne, he began to trust her, he appreciated her help) and it was also foreshadowing the strong bonds Michonne would develop with Carl, Rick, Judith and the other members of their group.

This video is perfection. It displays that this relationship had "build up" and definitely did NOT come out of nowhere for all those people claiming that it did. Rick and michonne built trust over the course of three seasons. He is someone who will fight and protect what he loves. She is someone he can trust not only with his kids but with himself, even in his weakest moments. Unlike Lori, she didn't shy away from his darkness or violence and never judged him for it. Unlike Jessie, she isn't weak or needing him to protect her. Unlike mike, even in the face of hardship he doesn't falter. There are no two people more perfectly suited. Jessie could never have been for Rick what michonne is, because his entire interaction with her felt out of character. Rick is weary of people instinctually. He met father gabe and didn't trust him (a priest)yet he met Jessie and just like that he allowed her to hold scissors to his head? That was weird. Then it just got stranger. he literally had to evolve into Shane for him to be with her. Pete was a monster but that doesn't change the fact that Rick became a man who was "involved" with a married woman and looking to kill her husband. It was insane and unhealthy and I'm glad it's over. To all those haters who preferred Jessie to michonne as rick love interest or are hoping they split up, I suggest you get over it because richonne is the most well crafted relationship on this show and it is going nowhere!

Watching these two fall in love has been amazing to witness. I've never seen it before on a TV show. From the very first moment he laid eyes on her we knew something would blossom between the two. She was 100 yards away in the midst of walkers and yet he saw her. Throughout season 3 you can see it on Ricks face that he couldn't even make sense of it in the beginning "it must've been something else". Destiny brought them together and you can see it Rick's eyes first. The way he'd stare into her eyes, watch her as she leaves, and gives her what she wants. They're the definition of soulmates.

It's great to see their scenes all together. I think my two favorite quotes - and in my opinion, the ones that cement the feelings between the two of them - is, [Rick] "I was afraid you'd talk me out of it. You could've." (when Rick hides the gun outside Alexandria and makes a Plan B with Carol and Daryl. It shows he trusts her and cares about her opinion of him) And [Michonne] "Rick's out there! He needs my help!" (when Rick takes on the Walkers by himself after Carl is shot in the eye. It shows Michonne can't take the thought of losing him.) The clues were subtle, but they were there.

I'm like two years late but it also shows that Rick is basically admitting it out loud to Michonne, the audience, and himself that her opinion and what she says to him has great power/control over him and what he does. He basically admits that she's his weakness and strength because she makes him a better, smarter person lol. The only reason he didn't tell her about the gun plan because he didn't want to face that fact to shield himself from his true feelings for Michonne, and that with time it was getting harder to avoid that truth (hence why when they're finally on that couch together it all becomes crystal clear that they have been in love this entire time and the final puzzle pieces clicked together simultaneously in both of their minds). He couldn't lean on no one else's help.Not Carol, Daryl ,they were always leaving unexpectedly. Until his queen showed up. Even when she found Carl and Rick at the house and Rick wanted to go with them to hunt for food. Michonne said no you were unconscious, he said I am awake now, she said no just stay and rest for one more day. No one suggested that before. So yes he realized what he got as a true unselfish friend . Therefore it became more.

My coworker tried so hard to get me to watch TWD. It was only when I stumbled across a KZbin video of Rick and Michonne that made me interested. The series was in season 3 at the time. When spoke herself to her then. They couldn't find her because she went to the Governor room in Woodbury. She stuck the sword to his neck. Rick thought she had set them up. But she never told him differently. So when he asked Merle to take her to the Governor changed his mind and told her to get out of the car he had something to take of. That's when Rick saw her walking back to the prison. He was relieved because he told Hershey he wasn't going to do it, he changed his mind. Let me just say ladies STOP criticizing how dark she is. I've never watched The Walking Dead, I've seen maybe scenes from a couple of episodes but I never took the time to actually watch the show. However, thanks to my fellow Westallen shippers, I discovered Michonne and consequently this video. And let me just tell you, this is genuine beauty. I have never seen something more beautiful. Their story seems so amazing, deep and pure, and everything about the way you pictured it and put in motion in this video, is perfect.
