I don't think she seems ingratiating; I think she's just sharing her perspective on an interesting experience. She's a beautiful and talented person who is incredibly brave for baring her thoughts and feelings to the world the way that she does. I just wish her work would get more recognition.

Love her art so much, has accompanied me since University. And she's so kind. If you read her book, you'll see that her lyrics are very abstract and have so many angles. I come from Spain and am not offended by it all. Although at this time It's hateful to be Spanish anyway

Stuck in a point in time that didn’t want her, and that she most certainly didn’t want to be in. At 59, myself and the friends I came up with so many years ago, are so much more deeply in love with her music than we ever were. When you draw people to an intimate setting who come to see a songwriter/yourself then you speak. Songwriters, guitar players, etc. are not machines. Tell a story or give insight. If they don't you may as well go watch an arena show where they do wardrobe changes and pyrotechnics. THAT would be "ingratiating". Kristin is no smoke or mirrors she's the real deal.

Thanks for the comment DMC! I agree SBB is quality. Just bear in mind this was recorded long before the days of smartphone videos! (2001 to be exact). And RIP Borders.
