Amino acids starts folding at secondary level. In primary it just makes peptide bonds. Dont be confused

My guess for the amino acids at 3:43 - top right = glycine, bottom right = tyrosine, middle = cysteine and bottom left = leucine

amazing video, just needed clarification on: so the entire polypeptide chain (primary structure) doesn't fold into either of the secondary structures? So, certain segments of the chain just stay unfolded while the others fold into secondary structures?

Thank you. :). This video was simplified, since it was intended for high school students in AP Biology. There are other types of secondary structures, as well as segments of the polypeptide chain fold into shapes that don't have a specific name.
