5:37 fishing pads with a spinnerbait is maybe my favorite thing to do fishing! Nice fish!

Heckuva angler! Kristine, I appreciate that you don't edit missed fish out of your videos. You're such a good angler and you miss fish, but so many who produce content edit the missed fish out of their trips, as if they land everything that bites. You tell the truth and I'm grateful, for when I miss fish, i remember that Mighty Kristine does too and that soothes the loss.
@kristinefischer2289 Жыл бұрын
I appreciate that! Being real and transparent is more important to me than anything
@bwoneymaddic446 Жыл бұрын
@@kristinefischer2289 There's another advantage to being real, which is that you end up telling a better story. Your videos are audio/visual stories and EVERY story worth telling has conflict at its core. Your conflict is woman versus bass and because you fail, like we all do, when you do succeed, it makes for a more compelling story and you get to embody creativity and grit. I end up thinking when you persevere, "What an angler." On the contrary, when a fishing video shows only success and no failure, I end up thinking, "What a phony."

Love the old school approach. Granted I don't fish big tournaments, just your local clubs, when I don't have anything on the line and am just out relaxing on a weekend off, nothing better than shutting off most of the electronics besides basic mapping and just going back to the roots of fishing. I have enjoyed your videos since I happened upon them a year ago, surprised it took me this long to comment. I hear you talk about the gilly a bunch. Is it a bait worth trying? What is the most productive way to fish it in your opinion?
@JohnGWilson Жыл бұрын
Please excuse my dumb question... but what is a Gilly?
@zachg5356 Жыл бұрын
@JohnGWilson it's a bluegill swimbait
@chrismichaelson5668 Жыл бұрын
@@zachg5356 how much do you know about them? I have never used one before but I am tempted every time I go to the store to get a pack but don't know what sizes I should start with or just get all the sizes. Colors are pretty easy in my area

You’re missing a ton of fish . In a kyak I would suggest going up a rod power in heavy cover always. If I were you I would go up on the gear ratio also . You’re not getting a hook in alot of fish .
