Always add dark to light when mixing paint. You may have had more luck getting orange if you had added red a little at a time to the yellow. Enjoyed your video! Going to try some chalk couture ..you make it look easy! Nice video!

I have a TON of fall crafts leftover from last year. I'm trying REALLY hard not to buy anything else this year unless it's necessary. Love all of these! You've given me some new ideas. I have sanders that are shaped like nail files. They work great in tight spaces.

Love the projects ❤I use glue stick as well when deco podging but then I use modge podge to seal the outside..your right it’s too wet which tears and wrinkles really bad

I always love all of your videos Kristin, I’ve never seen one where there is something that I don’t like. You were one of the first creators that I started watching when I began watching KZbin videos and I’ve just kept on watching them. You may be right with the chalk paint not mixing in and changing colours cos I’ve only ever got acrylic paint to do that, but what you did looked good anyway Kristin. Lovely! I think the red you ended up with the mix worked quite well with the color used for the stencil. Does dry brushing with fall colors work with white to perhaps achieve a weathered whitewash & providing the fall color you’d prefer? I’ve never done dry brushing, but would love to see if that could work. Saw a great way to use modge podge with napkins - applying to the item & letting it dry, then iron on the napkin at an appropriate temperature. Haven’t tried yet but if you do try, would love your opinion. 🙂

Oh maybe other colors would work great. I always feel like I’m going to start a smoke fire if I use a iron with a napkin. I need to do it and stop being a sissy😂

@@KristinKay Oh I totally get it - definitely good to be cautious with all heat tools! From the videos I have watched they use little irons like Cricut mini press & low or medium heat & doesn’t seem to take long to adhere. We all definitely need to be comfortable with a given technique 🙂. Thanks for your reply!!

I don’t really do tier trays as far as videos. They were very low viewed videos and it take a lot of time so I kind of stopped for that reason 😢
