I’m so glad this is back 😍😍. If you add zest to the dry ingredients it prevents the zest from getting clumped up and makes sure it’s evenly distributed throughout the cake. Thought I’d share ❤️

Made this right after you posted!! Tip for those who don’t have 6’ pans! I doubled the batter and it poured perfectly into three 9’ pans and made a perfect sized cake 🥰

I made this for my boyfriends birthday and it was a hit! Was lazy so I used a gf yellow cake mix and just added lemon oil/zest/juice and it was the most perfect moist lemony flavor. Also the cream was amazing! I was a bit worried about the purée messing with the consistency but it was the most perfect not too sweet pinky strawberry flavor. 10/10 thank u for the inspo❤️‍🔥

i really like that you left the parts in where you were feeling insecure. In my head you are like a perfect baker who really knows what she's doing and i'm always doubting myself and feeling like an amature. ahhhh I feel you on so many layers!!!! i also hate preparing baking pans, i always let somebody else make them and then I am disappointed with the effect and finish correcting them by myself AND I mess up the recipe soo often, last time I put gelling sugar instead of a normal one 😭 it was delicious at the end but completely not as planned.. and luckily my dog is too small to reach the table haha but I just loved how you show the REALITY of baking at home! 💕💕 I’ll try this cake for sure🌸
