Y'all in Texas are definitely getting good sq footage for your money. In DC, you'd have to nearly double your mortgage for that type of space and a pool? Forget about it! But I also hear property taxes in Texas is no joke, so it balances it out in a small way. Although I'm envious, y'all don't pay federal taxes.
