The Hardest Hitting Build I Have Ever Played.. 💪 New World PvP - Musket / Rapier Build Gameplay 2023

You’ve finally come fully to the dark side. And yes the hardest hitting weapon in our build is actually the rapier not the musket. It’s the hardest hitting rapier set up in the game. Utility, incredible burst and reaction speed make up for lost durability. Ele aversion doesn’t help vs conversion rapier damage. My tip to you if you want more survivability would not be more con but rather to run full utility perks on rapier. It still does huge damage. My favorite utility rapier is Entreé (Ref mov, Omni, Keen Speed). Thrust Prot, Stamina recovery, nimble, hearty and shirking energy also increase survivability by like 25%.

@@KristoferESO don’t forget leeching flurry! I full heal off dudes that are trapped with leeching flurry, then proceed to get the flurry right back becuase of the CD reduction perk, sometimes you don’t even need to trap the target to heal a good ammount

@@KristoferESO Yeah give it a try. I been running Entreé as my rapier lately. If you are good with evade it comes off cd even faster, semi-perm capped haste uptime - honestly it’s pretty offensive too. You have excellent chase potential and Omni on the rapier maxes out it’s damage bonus and it’s constantly off cd. It plays on all rapier def/off aspects: cd reduc, evade spam, haste and movement. Pair that with Stam rec, thrust prot, nimble, hearty and suddenly survival becomes purely about reaction speed rather then cds or hp. Which is why 5 con becomes an option at high levels. Up close that anyway- at range it’s a different game. That’s why good muskets are like Apex Predators. There are several other options for utility rapier set up as well. Running full damage rapier is good too though. I have a few of those as well there are like 4 bis burst and 4 bis utility and more inbetween. Rapier has so many options honestly. One more tip. As you mix and match your set up, just know that T5’s with matching armor glass and ele damn ring (plus invig/ME) are the best options for pure damage. Runeglass is really nice on rapier for cd reduc but it has higher burst since ele ave doesn’t effect melee and everyone has emeralds and thrust prot. Runeglass is also great on a jagged musket since all the dots aren’t effected by ele ave. Sorry for the text wall. Just excited to see you havin fun on musket haha. actually i test trap build in pvp3 arena... i always stay behind a tank or healer if possible.. then lay traps and throw bomb.. once the bomb is set on them i will charge in with spear and hit them with cyclone and run away. i repeat this.. only have problem with hammer and greatsword when pvp as i am unable to get close to them in a safe distance.

Could you make a video about how to get good gear? I feel that I can not really farm gear in this game. I mean you got some, but not all you need

Honestly the best way to get good gear is to buy it or earn it from your pvp rewards, check out nwdb.info if you want to do a search for farmable gear from bosses and such instead of hitting the trading post

I switch to 50 con 300 dex 150 int so yes this build still has the cheaper roll But if your looking to run 150 con you can go for 300 dex and 50 int this patch to preserve the cheap roll

sadly your written guide is not up to date as it does not use Power Shot - it is completely on Trapper only

Muskets decent at close range if your good with it, but I think the truth is most people don’t play against musket, it’s so uncommon that playing against it is like playing against a new weapon for a lot of people. All of their muscle memory reflexes just don’t really trigger when you catch them off gusrd

I think using something people aren't familiar with or don't expect can go a long way in PvP! People really don't think musket will chuk them so hard..

@@Syncinq There should be 2 options for each dungeon (the ones up to dynasty at least) one is to do the dungeon and the one is more general quest stuff - i think the quest giver usually offers both choices
