To all people looking to purchase a PC during quarantine: Obviously, prices are going to fluctuate because there is a current demand for gaming rigs due to Covid-19. However, most of the price differences don’t affect the original price much. For example: I am personally looking in to buying the $1300 build, and I calculated the pricing, and it only comes out to a bit over $1400. The pricing is still within my budget, however, I don’t know how to build a PC, so if I can find a way to get it built for me, it’ll probably bring the price up, and that’s another thing to think about: if you don’t know how to build a PC, then the price he says is not entirely correct, because if you have the PC built for you, there will most definitely be a fee. Either way, thank you, Kris, for making such a great video! Very helpful!

Hello there! I am making an 800$ pc and I think you can improve. Switch the ram out for Corsair vpx 3000 ram because ryzen doesn’t usually cope well with slow speeds, instead of a ryzen 7 2700x use a ryzen 5 3600x, and lastly get a 2tb hard drive from seagate instead of a 480gb ssd

I was looking for a new pc and i built one on amazon with an rx 570 for 500$ but then i was scrolling through facebook marketplace and i found a pc with an intel i5 4440, gtx 1650 8gb ram 500gb hdd, 256gb ssd and a monitor for 350$ and i bought it. I upgraded from a laptop and the performance was so smooth and im very happy with it. I can play most games at high settings on 1080p over 60 fps.

Although he said you can get a thirty dollar power supply DO NOT get a power supply under 60$. The reason for this is they last for a little while but the battery acid tends to wear down most supplies under 60$ and can lead to fires which no matter what budget you are at (except 20$) you should splurge a little more on the power supply.

If you have some basic knowledge on PCs and want to build one for a low budget, you could probably buy a dell optiplex for about 50-100$ and upgrade it from there. It won’t look pretty but it will work.

In australia you can’t even get am rtx 2080 for under $1000 which is worth prolly around $700, so building a pc in Australia is really hard, the system I want: i5-9600k ($326 aud), Corsair vengeance pro 16gb ($130 aud) 2x8*, ASUS z490-A, RX 5700 XT (lll thicc) 8gb*, AIO=well any water cooler that is around $150 (aud), any Corsair power supply, (above 80+bronze) 750w to allow for future upgrades* ($100-200), NZXT H510 elite ($250-300) (RGB), 1tb Samsung SSD ($150). And I’m pretty sure that’s it, if not reply to me what is missing and I’ll tell you what it is that is in place of the missing item. All up this pc should be around $1700 Aussie dollars (+$100 for Windows 10) or I could use a product key but idk seems sketch, maybe I’m just dumb

Well Kris is kind of wrong you can get a dell optiplex or similar older pre built from anywhere around $100-$150 at Walmart w/ 8GB RAM and 500GB hard drive or 120GB ssd and get a gtx 1650 LP for $150. So the $300 budget would be closer to what the thing I wrote above says. (Oh and most come with an i5 2nd or 3rd gen)

9:01 why not 1660 super? It preforms really closely to the TI variant and 13-15% better than the 1660 in games that are more gpu than cpu heavy.

"you can't have a gpu at the 300 dollar budget" I bought a prebuilt office PC with an i7 920, 4gb of ram, a 430w psu, and a 250gb HDD for 150 bucks. I added a 70 dollar gtx 760 and another 4 gig stick of ram and I got a PC that can run any game I've thrown at it so far at 1080p high settings 60fps (so far I've tried Minecraft with slidurs extreme shaders, destiny 2, csgo, and gta v and have had no problems) now this is not to say this is a beast or even the best pc at this price point, but considering it was under 250 dollars I'd say it goes to show that you don't need a crazy high budget to get into pc gaming.

Bruh my $800 pc could barely run Minecraft after like 4 years I have a hard time believing you have shaders on and have anything more than 40 fps

@@ajfergy5569 well it all depends on the graphics card you have. Minecraft runs perfectly fine on much less than an i7 and 8gb of ram, so when you add shaders it's pretty much 100% gpu dependent. Then there's how well you take care of your parts and the fact that some parts may lose performance more quickly than others. I have no reason to lie about how my computer handles Minecraft. I get over 300fps without shaders and 60-120 with shaders.
