Yes Kristy, there is a secret for these things is Paris and in France in general... and I tell you what it is: speaking French! 🌸 Finally, it looks like you have find some help from a local lady, great! There are still many talented yarnies to discover but they do not live in Paris... I also would like to thank you for having speaking so understandably for me on this video (I just commented the video you did with Caitlin Hunter...), so so much pleasure and joy to understand what you are saying, thank you 😘

Yes Kristy Glass, you should do a yarn tour!! I’ll be in NYC the first week of November and I told my husband 100x how much I would love to have Kristy for just one day to go to all the lovely places she has taken us virtually. That would be AMAZING!! Maybe a Patrons meet up???? Okay patrons everyone raise your hands in agreement!!

Thanks for letting me relive my cross-Paris yarn tour I made last year in October. I dragged my non-knitting friend to La Droguerie ( a favorite since I ran across it in Toulouse long ago) and then trekked on my own to Lil Weasel. Love the aesthetic of both shops and in my frequent travels to France knitting I’ve learned that the yarns ( with the exception of La Bien Aimée) tend toward traditional ie all the lovely shades and bases as in La Droguerie rather than indie dyed speckle and ombre etc. Bonne vidéo!

I can not believe this..... I just told the ladies in my Bible study that I would love to travel and get yarn from everywhere I go. Now I have to add pins too as I also collect them LOL. I quilt a little so material will be in my travel stash. LOL I guess I can wash and re wash the two outfits I will bring cause I will need the room in my carry on for stash, Big LOL When I am able to start this please be my guide for New York. LOL but really.

Love the music! Liberty of London BUTTONS!!! Moons ago when I worked in NYC I was near the L of L shop. They had quilters quarters that my mom used in a quilt for me. Thanks for reminding me!

Thank you so much for posting this! I’m heading to Paris on Tuesday and I agree the online resources for Paris fiber destinations was pretty limited. This was super helpful to orient myself to what’s available, etc. Very much appreciated!

Fantastic! Yes, you should be doing fiber tours of NYC. All cross stitchers want to go to Maison Sajou. Like me! So cool! Can't wait for that certain yarn shop with the yellow frontage....

“Why aren’t I giving fiber tours of NYC.” LOL, because if you did you’d never have time left in your life to sleep! It might be something to tuck away in the back of your mind though. I think it would make a great prize- spend the day touring NYC yarn shops with Kristy Glass! Maybe a raffle for patrons or a prize for a fund raising for a worthy cause. ... Thank you for all you do!

I’m really surprised that a fiber tour of Paris didn’t include La Bien Aimee. I keep seeing their yarn being sided by designers and referenced in podcasts.

La Droguerie is a must go! Kristy, there is a yarn from Red Heart sold at JoAnn called scrubby, that is for dish scrubbies! Yarn Hoarder uses them!

I thought so too for a special overseas fibre tour, @bridget koupriaynov Kristy, what interviews did you manage to set up before you went and will it be long for them to be up on the channel? That’s the best part of the trips to places that you go. :-))) I cant wait to see what theirviewpoints on things were, where they get their ysrns, and whats trending over there!! I mean it’s PARIS!! Eeeeeeeek!! So exciting! Can’t wait!

Wonderful taste of Paris yarn-eries☺️. I hope that you’ll consider when and how you might offer tours in NYC one day. People would flock to you for that, right?!?

Thank you for taking us along to Paris. Love how you can buy yarn according to the exact amount needed for the pattern. Would you please share the pattern and yarn of the very lovely scarf you are wearing? Thanks again for all of your great videos.
