Hi Ramon! I'm just a beginner but I can't thank you enough for this incredible software. Hi Ramon, thank you for sharing and explaining the fantastic job you've done and regularily do on those brushes. I've just installed the 4.3.0 version for Windows to test the new watercolor brushes, and i've noted than the behavior and default parameters on some brushes are different from your default parameters displayed in your video, especially the configuration of the Flow section in the Masked Brush part. On my computer and drawing screen, the default brushes do not seem to render exactly the same way as in your video. Is is maybe due to the specific drawing that you use or I missed something in the installation of the brush pack? Thank you for your help.

These brushes look amazing - but when I try and reproduce what you do in your video the "paint" seems to "dry" very quickly. So at 3min05 you paint a box and then fill it in. The "paint" is still "wet" and it becomes a single block of colour. This looks perfect. When I try and reproduce this I have to be very fast to get this effect. Most of the time the outline of the box has "dried" and so filling in the box is adding an extra layer of paint to the outline. So I don't have a good looking block of water colour. I have a strongly outlined box. When I try and use your simple brushes on my own picture again the paint immediately "dries" if you take the pen off the tablet. This means that trying to create a block of colour is impossible. Each pen touch is a whole new layer of colour and where the strokes overlap the difference in colour opacity is so strong that the finished picture looks terrible. Is there any way of controlling how fast the paint "dries"? At 5 mins43 you have an outline of a mountain which you fill in. I cannot reproduce this using your brushes. For me I paint a blue outline. When I try and fill in the blue outlines becomes much darker. It is now 2 layers of paint so the colour is much stronger. I do not understand why your brushes work one way for you and totally differently for me.
@KritaOrgPainting3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your feedback 7:32 is important to notice. These brushes are a trick "they are not using phisics, but opacity trick , so you have to start with the desired pressure (which controls the amount of pigment) and then keep the brushtroke moving your brush Don't take the pen off the tablet.. Of course you can do several brushstrokes and then mix with the last brush, the blender for watercolor. Is that answered your question? //RM

Krita can mimic the look, not the real behavior of WC. You paint in realtime (you don;t need a high range device) and you control de behavior. An also don't have to wait for the effect. Is limited to the brush behavior, not real dynamics. I hope this helps
