This man right here, just gave away a mad blueprint for free.. If it's as basic as y'all say, why haven't y'all made a joint 'as mad/ close to being as mad' as the Pana record? Just take what you need to learn off of the tutorial video.. You really don't have to criticize everything yo.. this is greatness here.
@seunstealth7 жыл бұрын
This guy respects his craft. Young and aspiring producers should pay attention to what he said about separating frequencies and maintaining balance; he was giving away great info for free there.
@patrickstarshooter52217 жыл бұрын
Tbh the information his giving is basic producer knowledge. anybody who calls himself a producer should already know these things. You can find these "free" information all over youtube. Just saying
@seunstealth7 жыл бұрын
patrick starshooter in other words, the information is sooo basic that young and aspiring producers should ignore him and go look for it elsewhere on KZbin?
@patrickstarshooter52217 жыл бұрын
Did you delete my comment? because I can't see it. Anyway, I don't know how you concluded that I was saying young producers shouldn't pay attention. I was simply stating that the entire composition here is basic (which I have no problem with since it's a hit song). Any producer who wants to make music should know the basics of synthesisers, compression, Eq'ing, reverb, echo etc. I never said the information was useless...I said it was basic. Which it is because audio engineering and production goes far beyond this tutorial in both technical and theoretical terms. I didn't invalidate your comment...I was simply adding to it.
@seunstealth7 жыл бұрын
patrick starshooter Your comment is still there. You just need to click on "view all __ replies". I know you weren't trying to invalidate my comment but your intentions (adding to my comment) weren't clear. A lot of people consider "2 + 2" to be basic maths but I doubt there are many four-year-olds among them. In the same vein, young and aspiring producers--whom I was referring to--would understand that the information in the video is fundamental but probably wouldn't refer to it as "basic". And, yes, the information is available for free all over KZbin but Tekno is sharing it right here for free as well. That doesn't make it any less valuable.
@patrickstarshooter52217 жыл бұрын
Okay, let me clarify. Do you understand why I would consider this as basic information, even from a young producers perspective? Here; he tells us what he used - For instance, he says he compressed this and added reverb on this and then used an EQ on this and that etc. But Audio engineering doesn't work like that, a producer can not learn that way. ( granted he does give some very minor details on his EQ'ing technique) But he doesn't tell us "WHY". if I simply told you that I slapped a compression kit on drum track but never tell you "WHY" I did it or HOW I did it then you will never learn how to compress drum tracks. Do you understand? Audio engineers need to know why certain settings and parameters work on certain instrument in the context of the entire song. Otherwise the information is hardly useful. That is exactly why I referenced the whole youtube thing, because there are other videos with thorough and more detailed explanation on how to Produce, compose etc. This video is merely for us to understand his workflow, not the intricacies of audio production. Which is all I was trying to get across, There is no right or wrong statement here lol.

I am Trezzy B, I actually love any beat produce by this producer Krizbeatz. Like what i notice, Krizbeatz is not just a producer but a music maker the master of great Afro beat. when this Tekno - Pana came out people where like wow, who produce this song? So nice everything about it is just perfect. As an upcoming artist Trezzy B loyal to your Beat Government. As far as i am concern before i found a record label that will control me or take charge of my production even after that Krizbeatz will be my producer ever.

@clarkflavor5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for doing this tutorial Kriz, much appreciated and fascinating. I'm very curious and wonder about music business in Africa. There's much talk now about trap producers in the US not getting payed for placements with even huge artists. How is this handled in the Afrobeats community? Would be awesome to get some insight to this. If not from you directly, where could I go to learn more? Peace & love, thanks again.
@jodiescott013 жыл бұрын
Amazing tutorial thank you, can you please recommend some artists who do Afrobeats or a similar style at a much higher tempo, the stuff that's banging in a club at 2 am. Quite fast and hectic. Forgive my lack of knowledge in this type of genre I'm totally new to it and want to experiment with it. Just moved to Dar Es Salaam from the UK and found a new love for music I've never heard of haha Amen.

Notes: Make the beat in your head first! Then translate it into your DAW. Start with your drums so you don't get lost. Utilize those hi hats to get the people rocking. try reverby claps for a mistic sound. At the end or beginning of 4 bars. Try to add signature sounds or cool chants in original ways. Make sure to pick the right sounds for the VIBE. Pick them carefully.
