Sad to see that in the name of entertainment we are spending so much on Theater tickets that these actors are demanding 25+ Crores for a movie. Even highly educated Proffesionals (CA's, Engineers, Doctors, Civil Servants etc) do not earn this kind of money in India after 10 year of service. A simple logic, if theses actors (Including the Kumars, Khan's, Devgans, Kapoor's, Roshans, etc) start charging 10 to 50 lac per movie, the theater ticket price will drop automatically and eventually we can start enjoying movie in the theaters with our families at a much lesser price. These Superstars have built their mansions worth 100+ Crores and secured the life's of their children and grandchildren. They are living king-size life with our hard earned money. I believe we better stick to OTT or any other form of free entertainment which is easily available on KZbin or any other app

They live in a bubble. I met Anurag & Taapsee & told them in person (respectfully) the reasons why I had Boycotted Bollywood the last 2yrs. Trust me, they weren't joking then & were angry. I wasn't trying to attack them. I wanted them to acknowledge that alot of people are NOT trolls or paid by BJP, but were once loyal supporters of the industry. Honestly, there's no point in conversing with them. Or even boycotting. This whole thing is a mess & isn't helping anyone. No one is prepared to address the MANY issues from the industry, and it's easy for them to stay in their echo chamber and keep pointing towards only the right wing propanganga. Either they're blind to reality, and actually not very smart, or either it's plain ignorance.

@@akshaychawhan5 Thank you 🙏 Yeah I felt it necessary to say so. Anurag and Taapsee aren't bad people. The way they're mocking stuff etc isn't reflective of how seriously they've taken all this. Taapsee had shut down. Unfortunately furious with what I said. Anurag, on the other hand, said ALOT to me. Blasted me. But he seemed real and genuine and I truly wasn't wanting to upset him. I'm partly glad he responded that way as he spoke his truth. Can't knock him for that. Sadly for me, he mistakenly put me into "boycott gang" without taking my views onboard in context. But it's okay. I came outa the blue and must've unpleasantly surprised them. Lesson learnt.

There was a time when film makers and actors considered movies as an art and as a medium in bringing social issues to light. Public used to play a huge role in encouraging and validating this art and the social messages. People used to get inspired from those films. But now, films are business and public has no value. The fake profits are just to make the black money into white. Public has lost value as films no longer are anything art but a tool in money laundering.
