Steam the asparagus then wrap it in bacon and add a little brown sugar to the top of the bacon and cook it till the bacon is to your liking. So delicious.

I have seen someone post a video when you want to freeze bacon roll each piece in parchment paper. The you only have to remove what you plan or need.

It disturbs me that despite our way different cost of living overall (including wages!) our grocery costs are very similar?! Make sure you add the scent beads to your washer first, then add clothing. Most people add on top, they don't dissolve and don't work. For them to work, they have to dissolve in water. Great video, thanks!!

Take that bacon and spread it out on parchment paper and cut in strips and individual roll the bacon up on the parchment paper and place in freezer bags then you can pull out as many size as you need without them sticking to together or defrosting a whole pack at one time.

Can chicken is great to have for chicken salad and I've even used it in fettuccine alfredo when I just had to have chicken. Just season it and warm it.

Hey Kristin! You can roast your asparagus in olive oil and garlic then top them with grated parmesan cheese when they come out of the oven. So good!!

Italian dressing. Lime juice and honey. Marinate for at least 4 hours. More if you want. Delicious. Used to be how Cracker Barrel did their grilled chicken tenders back when they actually had good food.

Save the squeeze bottle from the Old El Paso queso cheese. I save mine and reuse them for to go lunches, and picnics! Great haul! I love the specials/coupons at Kroger. I use their loyalty app all the time. Have you ever tried the Rockits apples? They come in a 3lb plastic package and they are sweet and small. The donut peaches are hard to find! My locations were all out!

Ibotta had a great deal on those seasoning packets, BOGO I got the chili and the carne asada. They had the same thing for the smaller bottles of seasonings. I’m gonna try some this fall for my chili.

My youngest son doesn't like cold pepperoni either, so what I do is take them out and make the little pizzas and then microwave them for like 15-20seconds. He devours them that way. Maybe Boston would like it that way if he ever doesn't like them

I love the Freschetta rising crust pizza. The crust is so good. It's my favorite rising crust pizza. Also, in my opinion, the Kroger brand of garlic toast is as good as the New York brand but cheaper. I did not really care for the Great Value brand as it didn't have enough butter for me. I also like doing frozen biscuits for Biscuits and Gravy.

I can’t believe that the lunchables are $1.49 each here in Canada they are $4.17 for one each. It’s crazy because I remember when I was a kid they use to be so cheap to buy like 50 cents or something like that. Wow. We don't have a Kroger around here, but it seems a bit pricy. I really just shop at Aldi or some little small town shops and dollar stores for pantry items. Inflation is ridiculous especially in some areas.

To be honest before KZbin I was always this way, I’ve always loved finding new recipes but as I’ve got older (& busier) I have more and more weeks where I feel the same as you. KZbin is my job so in the hard moments I just have to use that as motivation. You’re not alone ❤️

Always wonder how people shop at more than one store at a time. Do you take a cooler with you for the cold stuff, get the cold stuff at the last store or make two trips? I used to buy the Free beta pizza but they changed something and they now make my husband sick to his stomach. Great price on the bacon.

My town has only three grocery stores, next closest is the next town over which is 45 miles away. I shop at all three stores because of differing quality of certain products, I just hussle hussle when getting refrigerated or frozen items and doing all three stores in one day. Thankfully the stores are located in a decent place so as not to have to drive all over town, but I start with the one furthest away and work my way back home. I often stop at one store or another throughout the week also though if I am already out doing other errands and such. And yes, there are times I've gone home and unloaded and put away the perishables before going to the other store (usually only a concern in summer though if I know I have a lot to get at other places, in the winter it's colder outside than the refrigerator so don't worry about it).

Helps to see everything if you have the app and the loyalty card. It’s saved me tons of money. On the app there is a savings area to clip coupons to your loyalty card and a cash back area with some different specials. Not all have to have the loyalty card, but it’s free and it saves money.
