Here's some last questions. "Didn't he need any permits to leave/abandon property on public or federal lands?" "Were there any risk mitigations or blowback expectations he might be liable for if treasure hunting leads to damages, massive gatherings, or possibly violence?" Don't get me wrong, I am all in on this activity. I just know any critical mass effort of magnitude usually requires some authority vetting. So how did he do this without letting the cat put of bag?

I was there at the one in Red Mountain Park in Alabama. Nothing was there because he gave the exact spot under the tree of mine 13. Rubber gloves were everywhere and people showed up looking. I believe it was a gimmick to sell a $40 book and his children’s book that also left a clue
