Ever since I saw Krookadile for the first time in gen 5 he immediately became one of my all time favorites. People shit on the gen 5 dex back in the day, but gen 5 has some of the best designs in the franchise. Krookadile, Reuniclus, Galvantula, Excadrill, Volcarona, Hydreigon, Chandelure...etc. the list goes on. Sure there's a few unmemorable duds, but overall it introduced some of sickest pokemon. Oh and before gen 5 bug types were a total meme outside of a few standouts. But gen 5 bugs went HARD for no reason. Banger designs.

honestly, the only objectively bad designs in Gen 5 were the Ice Cream cones.

Yeah and gen 6 only gaved one with its evo line and the megas they doed dirty the bugs in gen 6 atleast gen 7 gaved 3 beasts in the bug family and 2 ultra beasts

@@JakeOakley1991 I actually don't mind them (also Gen 5). They remind me of Grimer and Muk, just made of trash instead of sludge. They're meant to be visually offputting since they're trash after all.

Feraligatr has always been my favorite pokemon overall. However, I just did a play through on scarlet and violet where my crew was "The Crocy Bois", using Skeledirge, Feraligatr, and Krookodile. Then I used Venusaur as that was their "Fat Mom", Sceptile as he was their "Cool Dad", and Haxorus as their pet.

Honestly, the only thing keeping Krookodile from being genuinely busted is it's speed stat. 92 is respectable, but not game breaking. Adding to the fact it had no reliable way to boost it's speed on it's own until Gen 8, Krook ends up being just a pretty well balanced pokemon
