So, you know Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.... That flirty guy? He is incredible writer and director. His sister had directed the movie and he wrote the dialogues. Now, there was an announcement called Jee Le Zara (the female version of ZNMD),which is written by him and he was going to direct as well, Farhan Akhtar. It was supposed to be starring Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. It has been postponed because first Priyanka had a baby and then Alia got married and had a baby

Someone from their team actually recently announced that they'll be shooting it sometime soon. There's ofcourse no public confirmation of when the shoot starts. But they confirmed that it's happening sometime soon(especially because there were rumours that one or two out of those 3 actresses might walk out, hence the confirmation was given i believe)

First of all she never truly left Bollywood, she has done a movie or two since she settled in America. She has more projects lined up, she is trying to make time for careers in both places but given her family is there in US, it has been difficult. And Priyanka went to start her Hollywood career when she was at the peak of her career in Bollywood, one of the highest paid actresses here with movies that were highly critically acclaimed and she even earned the national award for one of her roles (which is equivalent to getting an oscar in India). She went to USA right after her father died, she had achieved everything she wished for in Bollywood and wanted a new challenge, something that will require her to drown in work to get over her grief. Also she was tired of the internal politics in Bollywood.

I personally find it so interesting that why hrithik has name Krishna in this movie.....i bet it was purely intentional for writers to name him Krishna....cause in hindu mythology.....lord Krishna was known to be grown with supernatural powers as he was younger.....and one of the main characteristic of lord Krishna was that he was extremely mischievous and playful......he would always play around and his mother Yashoda would always scold him for stealing "makhan"....and during the entire scenes where hrithik meets Priyanka.....flute is being played which is kinda significant because lord Krishna is known to to play flute .....you guys need to read lord Krishna's childhood stories and you would realise how smiler hrithik character is to Him

Everything aside. Honestly i am surprised, that you never appreciate or find the beauty of Indian songs, i mean this movie has a really good album, voices of Shreya and Sonu is to die for, the melody, the instruments, the flute in background music. Its unbelievable to me. Maybe the complexity and intricacies of Indian music doesn't appeal you. Whatever, but its such a big miss you do in many movies and its very disappointing especially when the music is good.

Priyanka's last indian movie was the sky is pink with Farhan Akhtar 2019. She does have plans for more movies in India. One being with Zoya Akhtar. Honestly her acting comes out beautifully in Indian movies. I have watched a lot of her American content as well but somehow it feels lacking. I just can't connect. After don 2 she got boycotted from the bollywood industry and that was when she started fresh in America. In her interviews, she has mentioned how she doesn't want to stop learning and being part of the Hollywood movie industry is part of that. She had to start from scratch. Regardless of anything, she represents India beautifully on the world stage.

Most of it was shot in Uttarakhand (the first scene is from Nainital with the mango shaped lake) and maybe Himanchal? . Hill stations in India are different from the plains. Edit: also, the reason she had to leave bollywood because there was an alleged affair with SRK and she got driven away by SRK's wife and other friends who are influential in Bollywood.

Priyanka didnt leave Bollywood.
