Hip-Hop culture is beautiful. The problem is too many ignorant, dumb artists get pushed instead of the good good shit.

This new generation of rappers are trash and are destroying the great hip hop that we used to love and vibe too.

They conscious rapping is on point and their beats are 🔥 8:16 which LL COOL J song got a conscious rap?? Around the way girl? back seat of my jeep? Big Ole butt? Luv u better ? Mostly his songs sharing his recipe how to get a woman in bed😅 8:34 wu-tang c.r.e.a.m , krs one Love going to getcha, blackstar respiration, they got good lyrics and beat, and ppl praising them Yeah black ppl invented rock and they gave to the whites, you know why? Cuz black ppl wasn't feeling it at that time, if black ppl held on to rock, we could've had a black metallica or a black ac dc, but nooo yall gave it away 10:28 first of far most, 90s hip hop got good ass melodies and sick ass beats, WU TANG! you saying they don't have good melodies and beats? Dr Dre chronic album that don't have good melodies and beats? gangstarr dj premier ? And don't forget about 2PAC he from that era he got that type of boom bap beats that you said you hate hearing, and some of his songs is from the east coast producers except rza 11:43 you know you just now disrespect all the 90s beat makers rza, Pete rock, Dr Dre, dj premier, dj muggs, Neptunes, I want you to think about this ok, these guy definitely the game changers of hip hop 14:25 I agree with you there jody I focus on the production myself, that when I was such a Dr Dre fan I listen nothing but his production, after him , RZA started a new bitch slap type beats, after him, Neptunes

Part of the problem is that real Hip hop does not exist here - no radio hits none of these guys except Saddler - Radio and PD are in control of the narrative. This channel and its followers are not DJ’s or music lovers this are casual music listeners. I’ll have to make a list.

Jody vs Saddler is always 🔥. That Black Eyes Peas joint Where's The Love I wouldn't consider it being pop. Positive rappers/mcs are out there. You just have to look for them because most of them won't get pushed especially if their music isn't somewhat catchy for the mainstream fans.

The production of the Common's and Mos Defs are the best. Black on both sides, Be, are timeless. Making good music for the masses ends up being formulaic radio songs and artists will lose their core fan base. Just like in film, MCU have plenty "for the masses" family friendly casual viewer popcorn movies and we often criticise them for doing so.

@@JodysCornernah maybe KRS1 cos he's 80s / early 90s. But Common's best work in the 2000s and is Kanye produced. Mos Def and Talib are more modern too. Listen to the Common - Be album. Entirely procured by Kanye, his best album. Up there with Best production on an album ever

Recommend me an album tgat "Slaps" on the level of Tyga and travis etc.
@benj97s10 ай бұрын
@@JodysCorner Tyga!? Nahhh, he's not even good. I think you might be the casual everyday hip hop listener. The same way we talk about casual movie lovers who love the AntMans and Ragnaroks over the more less popular V for Vendetta's. You're casual fan who likes the mainstream 50 cent, Eminem over the more lowkey Mos Def, Common, Wu Tang etc. but I would recommend Common - Be or if you want more current day, Freddie Gibbs - Bandana or Piñata.
