It amazes me that these singers can keep singing the same thing over and over again and not lose their voices. What talent! These jingles were part of great radio which has, sadly, almost disappeared.

This is where the rubber meets the road. They sing it over and over, yet they keep their energy and focus. This is a major element of what made great radio, great radio!

The Johnny Mann singers were responsible for those great-sounding KHJ jingles from the 60's and 70's. How I miss good radio...

Nobody ever did jingles quite like the Johnny Mann Singers. They "printed" on the air like none other. Nothing out of the Dallas jingle houses ever cut through quite like the Johnny Mann Singers.

This is amazing I remember listening to that radio station back in Oceanside, California. Old times when I was a kid in elementary school.

Fascinating to listen to these professional singers having to repeat these jingles ad nausea m but still sound as happy on the last take as they did on the first....whew....that's tough....

I love radio jingles. I have for years and have enjoyed hearing the innovations that have gone with it. Studio singers are great, but to land the Johnny Mann Singers...wow.

I recall Johnny Mann when he was the band leader on Joey Bishop's short-lived night time "Tonight Show" challenger, mid 1960s. Regis Phil in was Bishop's announcer/second banana.

That was from back when I was 14 years of age and KEARTH 101 still had the oldies in its playlist. The iconic jingle was still heard everytime people tuned into the station. Now it's a 100.3 The Sound, 95.5 KLOS, and 93.1 Jack FM wannabe.

Back when K-Earth 101 had a great presentation and not the blandness they have today.

Chucked the jingles, chucked the 60s, chucked CVD, Jim Carson, Shotgun, there's nothing left but a repetitive 80s jukebox. You're playing the songs i wanted to escape when i started to listen all those years ago. Bye bye, I can't tell the difference between half the stations in LA anymore.
