You had a lot of little mini moments that were absolutely crazy in the beginning. The rock, the coconut. Being in the middle of an ocean and fighting off sharks that can break cement pillars couldn't break you, fighting and taming creatures and abominations hundreds of times your size couldn't break you, but a plane crash and some dinky little island did? Stranded deep is aptly named, cuz you went off the deep end.

I have a file well over 100 days as well, it's definitely fun to acquire all those goodies. I built a fortress on one of the islands, all the boss heads on display, 2 gyrocopters, all self sustaining. You really get in a groove of "Hell, I'll just stay here. I don't need saved." Great game.

@@KrugerOps for sure. There's definitely a few missed opportunities. A few extra touches would make it much better. I see you're on PC, and those islands look far more lush than what's on console. I might need to try PC version. I also have a serious crashing problem on my big save file for console, apparently it's a common thing.

The large file I have has had some issues with saving and trophies, so I've actually needed to start other games in order to get the easy ones, so I've been robbed of a few on that file. Still some easy ones to knock out that I just keep forgetting. 74% tho. The one to complete the game without a compass might be the last I do.

other than the seemingly dumb (in my opinion) "boss fights" i'm impressed with Stranded Deep. i have a feeling that NPC survivor crazy guy stole your stuff just to run out of fuel and die in the middle of the ocean. it sucks that alot of game developers have issues designing and programming NPC's.

I think the mythical triangle has some cool weather phenomenon going on where massive gusts of wind are pushing up and down making it impossible to fly or boat through it, they found out this after a plane was taken out by a random huge gust of wind similar to what’s seen in the triangle
