Finally someone explaining the basic exercise steps that you can practice that can lead up to a complete perfect round kick. So many videos and coaches explaining what you just did identically but failing to give you the preliminary practice tips needed to perfect it. I know what a perfect round kick takes but never knew how to break it down into buildable steps. I'm going to use your 1,2,3 steps as a pre workout warm up before I even think about hitting an bag or pad.

I’ve looked at hundreds of videos to try and find my old Muay Thai roundhouse, this is brilliant. Technically and defensively best breakdown I’ve found. I haven’t trained for 30 years and was struggling to find the mistakes on my own kick. Will update when I’ve got it again.

I am looking forward to trying this in the morning. I have just started training muay thai, and I am realizing my hips, & back are a lot tighter in that range of motion then I would of guessed so I am having a really hard time turning my hips over. I will try high reps of this three step approach. I would love to find some other stretches or specifically yoga that is set up for the martial artist as we commonly run into the same issues. Thank you for this video.
