Carry very similar items. Do a lot of ROW work on cross country electrical transmission circuits. Another item I carry are 2 pieces of 2x8 or 2x10 lumber approximately 15”-18” long to act as jack pads in the mud. Learned this the hard way when jack just kept pushing down in mud.

Thanks for watching the content. I enjoy your site as well. Headed to Moab next month to put the KRX through it's paces. Leaving the X3 at home this trip. Taking the Jeep and KRX for a dual ride.

I like the idea of a lightweight cover for your krx that you carry. Do you know what cover or the size you got that fits the krx?

I bought my covers 3 years ago for my commander and X3. They seem to fit universally. I could not find where I bought them but this may be a updated version that should fit. smile.amazon.com/dp/B01N5Y6MY6/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_c93xFbS4ZQVV5

If that’s what you bring with you, what does your shop look like? 😂 Be ready to upgrade your springs if you haven’t done so already.

I’m looking into doing dual batteries and avoid the alternator. Have you done anything like that?
@txtamer4 жыл бұрын
yes I have. On my old Maverick. It is not hard. I have not inspected around the battery of the KRX yet to see if there is room to add an additional on there. I will be adding one later this year. I will be adding a decent stereo to the KRX very soon and will video what I do. I don't do conventional UTV stereo and speakers. I will be looking to add a second battery then. Most of the parts are on order and coming in over the next week.

Larry Reamy looking forward to it! I too don’t like the conventional UTV radio stuff out there it sounds awful. I built my own and I’m very happy with it. I am having my headlights flicker due to the excessive draw from all the accessories and mostly light bar. I was also thinking a 47 series battery might fit under there instead of doing a dual battery setup.

@@SpeeeedyG I am hoping the same. If not, Someone will most likely see the need to produce an aftermarket alternator kit at half the price of the factory one.

Larry Reamy Did a little measuring today and it looks like the 40R full aize car battery will fit under there. Up to 100AH. Much better than the puny 35 it comes with stock.

You are driving a Kawasaki you do not nedd all that weight and tools they do not break....... You are used to that maverick and always breaking all you need is a spare tire a warn winch and a plug kit the tools to change a belt and a first ade kit and tools to remove wheel.

You are right. My X3 is the one that always seems to have a problem here and there. Plus, I always like to help all those Polaris RZR's breaking down on the trail.
