KRX 1000 with Empire Dual slip-on. Holy CRAP! KRX OEM muffler (wimpy)

Both clips are already on this channel but, I wanted to let you hear them side by side in the same place. Half the weight and twice the sound! Huge improvement if you like aggressive sounding exhaust. The first is obviously the stock set-up. The second is the same machine with VFJ stage 2 tune, RCOR clutch weights, and Empire dual exhaust.

There's 2 kinds of power. Rzr turbo and CanAm turbo power- wind up and stretch it out before you need it so you have enough momentum to make it. KRX normally aspirated Parallel twin engine power- stop dead in the middle of the toughest obstacle and take off again and never worry if you are gonna make it. Where I live it's all mountain trails made of rock, mud, downed trees, sand and deep ruts etc. Would never consider trading it for any other machine unless I rode the dunes.

Hot damn tat sounds tough and mean! I love it. But.... is it much louder than stock? I actually want QUIETER but with a better tone than stock if that's even possible. Coming from my loud RZR and now brand new KRX eS all stock. Don't want to have to go to using headsets. Got used to screaming at wife in the RZR to carry a conversation. Was hoping for less of that with KRX. The Nikola electric never came out as far as I know and those were dead silent. How awesome for the trails when you're not pumpin' the stereo.

It's definitely louder, but not as high pitch whiney as factory at higher rpm

Can you tell a throttle response with the slip on exhaust ?

I added the empire exhaust at the same time I added the tuned ECU. There was a big difference, but couldn't tell you what % came from what change.

KRX is so heavy and slow.

Wouldn't trade it for another machine on the market though. No razr or canam out there that I like better than the " mad kaw".

How much did you get your wrap ?

With design work and fabrication it was close to 450 or so. Don't remember exactly. Murray Powersports was killer to work with. They are covered in work right now with is good and bad. Good part is they have probably twice the wraps designed and shipped of any company for sxs, jeeps etc. Alot of experience and expertise. Downside is you need to get in the line because it's not getting any shorter. Look up Tim and/or Ginger Murray on Facebook. They have tons of work posted for review
