Wendigos aren't often portrayed with a physical form (at least traditionally) so that's a tough one. When they possess people though, they turn their host into an emaciated, ghoulish abomination with an ice theme, so I guess you could have drawn that. Pop culture turned them into generic deer/goat demons though, personally I'm just glad none of you guys drew that.

The movie ritual gave Wendigos an interesting design. It was a deer but not a deer at the same time

@@RileysBread The 2017 film? Yeah, that thing wasn't a wendigo, it was a European forest deity oc. It seems to be mostly based on Leshy, a Slavic forest deity often portrayed as a vaguely humanoid giant (occasionally with antlers) capable of shapeshifting into various forest related things, only they made it female and more evil. The majority of modern wendigo depictions rip off European spirits like that one all the time, which hurts both legends honestly; you get people not knowing how an actual wendigo is supposed to look or act like according to Native American legends, and you get other people erroneously referring to European nature spirits as a wendigo because it looks like a deer (even though giving spirits deer-like qualities solely to symbolize wildness is a mostly European thing, and wendigos originally had nothing to do with deer). Unless you meant some other movie that went by the name "ritual" with an eldritch deer thing as the main antagonist.

An accurate depiction of a wendigo would be a tall humanoid with ashy grey skin, no hair, reek of rot and decay, and skinny to the point of appearing skeletal. Sometimes they are said to have eyes that glow, and the height they are said to be varies wildly from source to source Wendigos do NOT have an animal-like appearance at all. They look like foul, rotting, twisted humans, with some other slight peculiarities
