My feeling exactly, she was worse than Gen. Zod at times. Strangely enough, the character of Ursa displays at least some of the characteristics of serial murderers (she collects 'trophies' from her victims, they are visible on the front of her suit; she gloats to General Zod about killing that 1 astronaut; and she & Non threaten to kill Lois in front of Superman when the Man of Steel attacks General Zod in the final confrontation). Sarah Douglas was absolutely brilliant in this role.

@@nopcshere6097 I think Zod probably would have left people alone as long as they obeyed him. Ursa seemed like she would have flown off in the middle of breakfast to destroy three cities just because she was bored.

The old version General Zod was actually a pretty chilled guy, and clearly the brain of the group. In the remake Man of Steel, the new Zod has some anger management issue and just a muscle head.

Yep. Zod was the leader, but Ursa was much worse. He was more about having power and control, while she was more about killing, which included innocent children.

I love how she was fascinated by earth badges so much that she would steal them and wear them herself. Which is actually very odd too because for example, the sheriff badge is on a pin that is supposed to pierce the clothes but her clothes are from Krypton and are supposed to be impenetrable.

Actually the more accurate explanation is that in the mid-80s, Ma Kent's explanation was that Clark's invulnerable skin created an aura protecting anything close to it. The clothing itself wasn't indestructible but anything close to Clark's skin was given the same protection. Sort of like a close contact forcefield. It's only a theory, but a reasonable explanation of why bullets, fire, etc. didnt have the effect of destroying Clark's clothing while leaving his skin intact. Also, Ursa's now superhuman strength would easily allow her to force the pin through her Kryptonian clothing.
