If you have the cash flow and wiiling to spring you can marry any woman you want in the PP. You can take her out of the slums, give her care and protection and the things that only a good woman could want, build a nice comfortable fenced in home in a country setting, even help the parents. This will mean a lot to her and she'll appreciate you much and remain by your side. Just know that as a foreigner you can't buy the land and you won't own the land that the home is sitting on so you'll have to trust her that much. Notice those concrete hollow blocks? They would last 500 years if they were constructed properly. For my place, I made my own CHB’s and made sure to use the proper cement/sand ratio plus the right sand (not beach or river sand) along with fresh clean water. Then it needs to be properly cured (kept damp, not dry too fast). The CHB’s I see for sale can often break apart in your hands. Mine can be thrown in the air over a concrete road and not break. Manila is in an earthquake zone and unfortunately those neighborhoods are extremely unsafe.

because asians have pride and dignity unlike african americans who always screams "we were colonized by X country long time ago in bethlehem so X country should take good care of us and should always provide us with welfare etc." Do you know how many asian countries have prospered even though they have, in history, been colonized by other western countries? Quite a lot actually. There will always be poverty stricken places(even in the US of A) anywhere in the world and you can't blame it on the present US government what had happened in the past that the present US government had nothing to do with. It's not the United States(or rather the current US government) that you should point fingers at but rather the world elites(think wef organizations) that benefits from the poverty of many(yes, including the poor US citizens and not just poor filipino citizens and other poor citizens of various countries).
