Guys, for me it works so heres my trick to always have beautiful cups: no matter how many stitches you do when you start, it could be 7, 10, 12, 15, always do the same amount of rows too. For example, if you do a cup with 10 stitches, do 10 rows and your cup will be a perfect triangle! edit: im not saying that it works for everyone, it could differ from person to person, but you can always start from there and improve on it❤️

this is an amazing tutorial! you cover more than many other tutorials do so I appreciate it!! the one piece of advice I’d give as a new crocheter who’s rewinded this 100x lol is to clarify when you’re stitching if it’s from the inside/outside & show the piece (joining cups, starting the chest area, stitching to make the straps). I relied on undoing my stitches if it looked weird but I quickly realized there is right & wrong ways to go in that regard lol. but thank you!!!

this was my first ever crochet project besides granny squares, and it came out sooooo good! tip for bigger chested girlies: I'm a 36D and did 16 starting stitches and 8/9 rounds of stitches, and maybe could have done one more. I ended up doing 5 single crochets to join the bottom 5 stitches of the 2 cups together, and now it fits perfectly :)

i just finished this top and it turned out beautiful! i’m so excited about it! a tip for plus size girlies since i didn’t see any other comments about it, don’t overdo the amount of chains to start the ribcage portion! i was worried it would be too tight too but the corset part ended up so pretty and perfectly snug! i also did 2 rows all the way around the project for a border before adding the straps so if you feel like you underestimated you can just make up for it there in the same color or a different one! i used only 1 skein of big twist hush yarn and a bit of another for the accent color border. it’s a thicker one but it’s not too thick and i think it saved me some time.

I love how it came out, mine didn’t come out as nice because I didn’t make it as tight but I love it, definitely follow this tutorial because it’s very easy, also it took me 3 days total but I worked on it off and on so you can finish this in 1 day depending on how early or late you start

Aside from some granny squares I use as coasters, this was my first crochet sophisticated project! I knitted several scarves over the years but it really feels so fulfilling to create something you can wear as part of an outfit year round. I’m a beginner and slightly a perfectionist so I did and redid my first cup multiple times because I was having the issue of it curving. Once you figure out how to solve that issue, everything else really just comes together! I went through almost one whole yarn bunch for those who are wondering and if I hadn’t restarted so many times, I did this project in 2 days. My only real critique is the style. I think if you have someone helping you adjust and readjust the straps in the back will be good I think that the cups weren’t as snug as I’d like them to be and it’s not a sizing issue I think it’s more of the type of yarn seems to be stiff. I really enjoyed this project! Thank you for sharing :)

How were you able to stop it from curving?

@@camillaleonard4083 the secret is, as Krystal mentioned too, to go on the very first stitch when yoy start a new row. Hope this helps:D
