Even though it’s filler I really do suggest watching episode 101 when you get to it. It’s weird, hilarious, and it’s referenced later in the series in some of the canon episodes.

No it's not. It's like 70 episodes that don't matter. Better to skip the filler and move on to Shippuden. Personally, I would recommend watching the movies over the filler episodes.

yes it is. it gives the other characters room to breath and have more moments when honestly alot of the side characters don't get alot of shine later if you remove the filler entirely. seeing at least some of the naruto filler can help investment later one. I mean saving time I guess yeah people can skip filler if you want to hurry to shippuden but there are alot of cool moments. drunken fist lee is technically a filler aspect against the bone guy. some filler helped the team spend more time together before sasuke's choice. and honestly alot of them are genuinely funny/entertaining so I think it feels kind of harsh to say they don't matter at all when they give us more time to hang out with genuinely entertaining characters. I can't say much for the shipuden filler as i'm just talking about OG naruto but even in shipuden some really nice moments were anime only like hinata doing her best to save naruto.@@Aldridge517

Okay so this is about to be a spoiler anyone who hasn't watched Naruto or gotten that far into it don't read this Its kinda funny how they had all this builed up for Sasuke vs garra or sasuke vs rock lee and neji and he only fought one of them and still lost Naruto fought the other two and won

i know this is probably a really late thing to say but u dont have to skip any fillers lol just slowly watch it u dont have to rush, maybe if u find earlier in the episode that it's kinda boring just skip it (because well it's probably boring for the entire ep haha, trust me u will find which one is the boring one fairly quickly while watching them) and watch the next one. most of the fillers are really entertaining for me that the other ppl might not agree with. watching with no guidelines especially the one made by a random internet dude is the best way to watch the show! plus most of the fillers are bringing out more characters personality and story that explore a lot more about the show

please girl for the love of god the last thing you need is a fucking guide how to watch a show xD just watch it episode after episode and you cant go wrong definitely dont trust some random internet nonsense or whatever some plebs tell you about what to do :) you gonna end up watching a stupid fan edit you dont need that in life :P if its in the show its canon unless its a special its very simple :) anyways it was the perfect introduction to the best duo, Gai sensei and Rock Lee, instant impact :D our guys got a bit of a reality check, they arent the top dogs around here :) Naruto introducing us to his classmates is hilarious xD got a nice little build up for the exams now we ready to go :)

Episode 101 and the cannon bits of episode 141, 142 and 220 are the only ones worth your time in Part 1 of Naruto. Shippuden is a different story

Only filler episodes that I'd say are worthwhile is ep 101 which is the Kakashi's mask episode, one of the funniest in all of Naruto and episodes 102 thru 106 which is the Land Of Tea escort mission arc bc it's technically filler but also canon to the anime & manga plus it ties into the main story, all of S7-S9 is basically just fanservice filler

Skip it, naruto filler is garbage, and literally 2 3rds of the anime. There ate 700 manga chapters, and about 1100 anime episodes. There are only 24 pages per chapter, and each page is a maximum of 5-6 panels with about 2-3 speech bubbles each.

There are a few filler eps that are fun and should be watched. But not many. Just don't skip Anime cannon. Anime cannon should be watched, since you are watching the anime.
