Love the little desk & chair, so sweet! The color really goes well together. I just love anything old and made of wood, love the patina. The small Windsor chair is precious! I collect old side or dining chairs, even kid sized ones. I have one of the Windsor style kid chairs, someone painted it white & is chipped up, which i love the chippy look & l love a little white chair, but with this style l really wish it were in a wood stain.. and I may eventually strip it and stain it 🤷‍♀️ I can always find another white kids chair😉 Oh I love the light fixture over the desk, very cute! I collect old lamps, but love unique & old lighting fixtures too. Love the way you've styled the entire area! I love brass bracket the hat is hanging on! I like different little pieces & details like that added in gallery walls or just spaces like this. His room is very cute..and love the fort! I'd love to do that for my 2 grandkids. Enjoyed the video..TFS😊

There is differently different kinds of children - my son would have loved this room till he turned 15 then he became a slob! I feel with the influence of class mates who never were expected to clean, pick up , etc so instead of fight with him I didn’t open that door for 3 years! He was responsible for cleaning, laundry dishes etc. if he didn’t have it he didn’t have it - price he had to pay for having “ his own place” ! Interestingly, when he moved out, he rented a Tudor style house, was busy decorating , shopping antique malls, etc and even had coasters! He learned early what makes a house a home!

Those Coral and tusk pieces are so perfect!! We've had a really off year for garage saling and thrifting as well. I don't know it's that this year's weather or what but really hope yard sales/thrifting/estates imporves before Christmas! 😅 hope the rest of the reno goes smooth for you too!!❤ we're behind in all our projects but still so glad it's almost fall!!

Wichita tends to rain a lot in spring to summer so fall was better ( at least in past years ) but we are experiencing the same in Denver area even with neighborhood wide - garage sales are sparse and mostly over priced!
