Heyy! I'm Ana, I'm 18 years old and I'm from Brazil. I got to know Zach's story in Disney's Clouds and since then he has changed my view of life through his own life, that's all he taught, and still teaches and transmits. He was a human being with a beautiful soul on a mission to literally change people's lives and it's beautiful to see that after 10 years it just grows. I'll be here on KZbin for the next few years and I really hope one day I'll be there celebrating him, the cause and everything it means together with you guys. I'm glad they do this in my home state for him every year. I remember hearing the song before I heard of him and his passing and was just amazed how talented he was. Then when I seen the preview of his movie and found out he passed I was so sad. He was such an inspiration for everyone. A friend of mine actually knows his family. I was really little when my mom first brought it up. Ever since I was like 3 I have always wanted to do this. I finally had my chance this year. I felt so good it made me cry. My choir had been practicing for weeks and it finally came. I have always wanted to help kids with cancer and it feels so good too.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I was supposed to be at the concert with my friends with a girl who was at the bottom of the glass, but I couldn’t come in. I started to cry because I had to go to basketball game. I'm so amazed every year by this. Zach and I were born just about a month apart. I listened to his songs from the time they were released until years later all through college and beyond after he passed and I gained and lost a son. I've read and watched everything that has been made about him. I was so happy when clouds went big. What a great dude. So glad this still exists.

Clouds has been on my Spotify list for a couple of years and I listen to the song regularly. Every time I listen to the song it gives me goosebumps, makes me think about Zach en makes me cry a little bit. And every year I watch everyone sing clouds, it’s so beautiful❤! I am so grateful for having healthy kids and every time I listen to Zach it makes me humble en thankful that I have healthy kids. And that is not just something that you should take for granted❤

Side note check out his mother's book, "Up up up" an amazing memoir that will have your heart aching, tears streaming, yet, with the pain you feel for this family, love, understanding, and a message that needs to keep being shared. I come here every year, for this song, and I cry every time. I Thank them for doing it, Zach went far too soon, this is so special still being done at ten years, it sort of keeps him alive ( I dont know him, im in the UK ) but his memory is a legacy that most folk dont have, I hope this still going in 50 years! I was in this concert it was truly amazing getting to experience it we had to practice for a full month so we could celabrate this wonderful song my friend commented on this and you can probably find it the next time at school she came up and hugged us both she really did cry and I started tearing up it was so beautiful and it reminded me of my grandma

Absolutely fantastic! I listen to the Mall of America "Clouds Choir" every year. It has now become a ritual for me during the Christmas season. I work in oncology myself in a large hospital and the topic is so important! Maybe someday I'll be able to participate in the singing at the Mall of America. The year was 2000. The date was December25.I will always remember this date forever because on that day our 14 year old nephew FRANCOIS was our guest during the holidays.During our many conversations FRANCOIS let us know that something was not right with his legs.His parents were worried so they brought him to ST. JUSTINE'S CHILDREN HOSPITAL in MONTREAL, QUEBEC for a battery of tests to find out what was wrong with FRANCOIS. The parents assumed it was nothing serious until........we received a phone call on DECEMBER.25 to let us know that something was terribly wrong.It turned out to be OSTEOSARCOMA which is cancer of the bones.I do not want to dwell on the 5 years from his 14th year till his 19th years on earth, but I just want to relate just one experience that took place the night before FRANCOIS passed away.It takes place in his room at ST.JUSTINE'S HOSPITAL.....We all had a gut feeling that he would not make it through the night so the family of FRANCOIS, relatives, me, my wife and children were all in his hospital room talking because FRANCOIS was sedated.The room was dark and somber.It was maybe 8:30 pm and I needed to go to work the next day.I thought I missed my chance to say goodbye to FRANCOIS..so I took one final look at him and I noticed he started to say something but I could not understand what he was saying.Therefore i leaned right up to his mouth and he said and I will always remember his final words to me: He said: AM I DEAD YET. I immediately let everone know that FRANCOIS had something to say to everyone in the room.He let everyone know that:...I LOVE YOU and he wanted to kiss everone which broke my heart because it was his way of saying:..GOODBYE..As I am writing these comments tears are flowing from my eyes and down my cheeks. If I have learned one thing from FRANCOIS'S passing is to tell the ones you love before you go to bed every night that:I LOVE YOU because the next day just might be to late. I was glad to say goodbye to FRANCOIS for the last time that night because the next day he passed away. In conclusion: A shout out to radio station KS95 for their support in keeping the memory of: ZACH SOBIECH alive. Also to the SOBIECH FAMILY, FRIENDS, FORMER CLASSMATES,etc.May God bless each and everyone of you. And finally to the producers, directors, actors in making the movie CLOUDS which was filmed also in the outskirts of MONTREAL, QUEBEC
