6th Annual KS95 Clouds Choir for a Cause 2018

Every year since Zach’s death in 2013, thousands of people have gathered at the Mall of America to sing his hit song “Clouds” as part of KS95's Clouds Choir for a Cause.
To support the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund he set up to help other kids diagnosed with osteosarcoma, visit www.ChildrensCancer.org/Zach.

After all these years, it still moves me to hear this song and think back on its origins and meaning. I never knew Zach, but I learned some of his story from the documentary and other bits published about him. I feel he embodied much of what is good and just and kind in this world, and am so thankful his memory lives on.

I just found out a few moments ago that a friend of mine and a genuinely amazing person to everyone he met has lost his fight with Pancreatic Cancer today and thought of this song. Awesome job, and I was there on the 4th floor! Zach's parent's found out that night that Warner Brothers IS making the movie about Zach and it's going to be called "Clouds"! It's going into production in 2019! So awesome they raised over $600,000 that day, over $15 million this year alone, and in excess of $100's of millions over the 20 years they've done this!

They've only done this for 6 years. It was first played on KS95 in December 2012, then the first Clouds Choir at MOA in 2013.

@@natalielopez5575 actually, I just re-watched this and I don't see myself anywhere in this video. I was way up on the 4th floor with my daughter; she was wearing a white winter coat and I was slightly behind her filming my own video of this (yes, it's also up on KZbin!) and I was wearing a blue/black tie dye hoodie standing close to a pillar. From our vantage point, the escalators were off to our left and the stage was to the right, of course way down on the 1st floor!
