Our sweet Hannah! What beautiful and fun pieces you have created for this month! You are so awesome! I hope you and everyone at KSCRAFTS had an amazing New Year and you were all able to enjoy all of the New Year daily celebrations. Out of curiosity, I had to see what your New Years celebrations were all about and why many enjoy quite a number of days within it, So, I decided to read about it. I have to say, it was really fun to read about your traditions and how they are still being celebrated after so many years, I thought it was awesome. It also touched my heart. I truly believe that our traditions that reflect our culture are ever so important to all of us. It is who we are as a people. This is why I like to learn about other cultures and traditions. My family and my People have a rich history, and our celebrations and ceremonies celebrate it. My family is Anishinabee. I will be returning home for our annual Pow-Wow on sacred ground (Bear River) on the second weekend of July. It is the same weekend every year. Hannah, if you ever have a moment, look up my family. Maybe there is a video of our Bear River Pow-Wow. If so, you just might see my nephews, cousins and/or Uncles on one of the Drums. Our family has the honor for caring for one of our drums. My Uncle Brian also makes them and teaches our young people how to as well. When I go back this summer I will be taking a lot of videos. Maybe I can send some to you through Instagram. Only if you’re interested, of course. I would like to say, I really loved your Christmas tag and both of your books. Respectfully and with kindness, I do have to let you know that this video went pretty quickly for me. It was hard to really look at the dies and what you had created. Could you please slow it down like you used to have it? If not, and if you prefer it this quick, well, you’re the boss when all is said and done. 😊. And please know I am so darn proud of you and how far you have come as a unique and pretty amazing creator in your own right. You rock! Well, looks like I’m going to have to put an order in the next few days. I’m pretty excited about the books and the bunnies. Happy hoppity Easter!
