I’ve seen a woman decapitate a man and only got 4yrs. In comparison, 18yrs is more than fair. You should look up other cases where the sentences are between 4-15yrs and most people get under 5 yrs.

Because the inmates he was in jail with could possibly have covid-19 or RSV which is a vicious breathing condition that he could spread all over that courtroom. So that's why he's possibly wearing a mask. There are a lot of people out here that are congregating in buildings w/o a mask and covid and RSV are still out here. I went to traffic court last week and I was the only one in the courtroom wearing a mask. I'm not guilty and I was not a coward but I had sense enough to put on a mask. And a lot of you dumbasses don't. I congratulate him for protecting other people even though he did a dastardly deed to that young lady......

Thank you to the jury, lawyers and judge that did their job on this case. I hope this young lady will find peace with her new normal. I hope her parents realize that they did protect their daughter that night and without them she wouldn't be here, they did everything right that night! With all the evidence against him his attorney should’ve advised him to take the plea deal. I’m just pretty sure his attorney advised him to take the deal and he thought he could get off with a not guilty for some odd reason. It’s pretty hard to argue against him driving with no license and hurting the woman he hit. There’s so much evidence and witnesses against him I don’t understand why he didn’t take the plea deal unless I’m wrong and it was as many years as he did get anyways.

My daughter BEEN at those USAV tournaments. Ain’t no reason he should not be in prison for life! Most of these girls compete since the age of 12 all to achieve scholarships, invitational to D1 university schools, etc., based on those performance which they train extensively hard for, all avid the United States. This is tragic for everyone involved. That girl went through so much and was only here to a tournament, and he lost a well all because of a reckless decision that we all know he didn't intend to hurt her. Two teens and two complete life changes.
