I would say that the perfume in deodrants ais a bigger problem, but I still need to look more into the aluminium part. I would recommend scent free deodrants for sensitive skin. They usually have a short list of ingredients which is great.

@zinab2blessa agreed tbh! I don't have any allergies but I've still decided to switch to fragrance-free products for simplicity. I don't want the trouble of figuring out what went wrong if a product with fragrance ends up not working well for me 😅 I also like a non-scented base so that I have maximum options for what my scent for the day will be.

I’ve been using the locctaine body oil wash since before it was viral, I didn’t love the scent at first but it grew on me…. And also it’s a life savior in the winter time, most moisturizing body wash ever!!!!

I LOVE both the scents and the exfoliation that Tree Hut body scrubs provide. I love both their scrubs & body washes. The Dove body scrubs smell super good but I feel that the beads are far too tiny/gentle to get a good exfoliation. We all just clearly like what we like, and that is what makes the world go ‘round. I really enjoy your videos and most always agree with your recommendations.

The Tatcha moisturizer is way outside of my budget but I got a free sample from Sephora a while back and have literally been saving it like gold for special occasions. If I had the money I would get that and only that and slather myself in it. My super super dry skin absolutely loves it. I hate that it's so expensive but it has been so sooo good.

Hi Ksenja, I wanted to say something regarding the L'Occitane shower oil. Maybe I misunderstood your explanation, but it seems to me like you use it as a body oil. But it is actually a shower gel, not an in-shower oil. You should basically use it as a body wash. Of course if you dont like the scent, this will not solve the problem :D but I just wanted to let you know. Aplogies if I misunderstood what you said

I’m 53, and the Tree Hut scrubs are perfect for my elbows, knees, hands, upper chest and feet. The scent “Cherry Rave” is very similar to TF Lost Cherry DNA.

The sol degenero body sprays (I know I’m spelling that wrong) are so hyped. I loveeeee any scent that is tropical, coconuty, smells like sunscreen. I was so excited for these products. I hate every scent😂. They are so dang sweet and not at all what I expected.

I need to use another exfoliating tool when using my dove scrubs. My skin feels exactly the same when I get out of the shower if I don’t use that extra tool. The treehut scrubs are to die for (IMO) especially for feet/ legs / underarms!

I agree with tree hut, however, walmart has a dupe of tree hut. Personally, I think its more of a dupe of Dr Teals, which I LOVEEE. It leaves my skin feeling so moisturized and they smell great!! However, as you mentioned in the video, dove is totally great for a more gentle, creamy, exfoliation.

I set my aluminum free deodorant with dusting powder (lush has good ones) after I have applied the deodorant. Works fabulously. Normally I dont need to re apply but if it is super hot summer... To re apply then....I use a baby wipe with witchazel to cleanse then deodorant/dusting powder again Currently I use SDJ 62 deodorant. Also maybe your L'occitane shower oil is rancid?!🤷🏼‍♀️ Great video TY

Oh I like L’Occitane almond shower oil. I don’t dislike the scent but then again I don’t have a dog 😂 🐕. I feel super clean and moisturized after I use it but I am an old lady with really dry skin 😅. I did not like the Tatcha dewy skin cream either. Tried through Ipsy so didn’t spend lots to find that out. I love the Elemis Pro Collogen skin cream but it is quite expensive also 😢. Thanks for your honesty as always ❤

Have you tried a salt stick as deodorant? I was actually influenced by Jaclyn Hill (who I can’t deal with anymore after her lipsticks) but the line that sold me was “it doesn’t have to be the one I’m using-ANY salt stick. They work!” It actually works. Just leave it in your bathroom and wet it, apply, good to go. The Saltair deodorant is pretty good too and it has skincare ingredients.

I love salt and stone deo sticks and have been a constant repurchase, Bergamot and hinoki was least performing scent in their line for me too. I would recommend trying Santal vetiver or black rose oud once…

Aluminum free deodorant never worked for me until I tried the Lume smooth solid deodorant, before whenever I would wear natural deodorant I was musty after an hour but now I can go all day with only having to apply it once. it lasts all day and smells great. My only hang up, I have about it is that it’s not an antiperspirant meaning you still sweat it just deodorizes your sweat if that makes sense. Overall I really recommend if you’re in the market for a new deodorant and wanted to try something aluminum free, they also have minis you can buy before committing to a full size.

If you haven't tried Native deodorant in their Vanilla & Sandalwood scent, do. That's all it smells like, vanilla and sandalwood, and it lasts all day. It won't stop you aweating (no aluminum), but you'll smell great while you do. I ❤ it because it works with every perfume I own, too. 🙂
