That Shiseido Fino worked really well for me. Not because I had extra shine, I loved how it made my hair feel. It was super slippy and dentangled, but my hair felt fatter at the same time. I absolutely loved it! I bought it twice, and I’ve been on to trying other things, but I will definitely buy it again. It’s a shame it didn’t work for your hair. My hair is very different than yours, it has 10+ years of henna and indigo in it to dye black, and naturally air dried it is a 2A.
@livhuang4496Ай бұрын
It’s made for high porosity and damaged hair. We have the same hair type (dyed and 2a) and it worked for me well too! It’s also made with Asian hair in mind so other hair types maybe aren’t as successful

I have henna dyed 1B hair and I didn't care for it 😕. How much product do you use? Are you conservative, moderate or globbing it on? And how long are you letting it sit? What sort of wash day do you use it in? Unless products are seriously awful (which Fino isn't, as I said in another comment - it's just meh for me), I use them up so I'm hoping to find a way to enjoy this product while I have it (only used twice so far). Sorry for all the questions - hope I'm not being too overbearing!

I’m on my third tub of it. I have long, wavy, dyed medium density hair. I love how soft my hair feels afterwards. It also holds curl for an extra day, on the days that I use it.

The ELF soft glam foundation looks beautiful on my skin. I apply it with a BK Beauty foundation brush. I put the soft glam on half my face and the Maybelline 24hour tint on the other half. I can’t tell a difference in the appearance or the longevity. I have dry mature skin that is well cared for. The Redken Acidic Bonding line works so well for my hair but the Amika the Cure line is just okay. Shows you that everyone’s skin and hair react differently to products. Thank you for doing all your research so we can save money and time.

Abbey, try using Fino after passing a good deep cleaning shampoo, it’s the tip of one of the biggest Brazilian hair youtubers Carol Kyoko, she explained that this is a very concentrated mask and works best on extremely clean hair and without any residue of other products or it will most likely weigh the hair. If you have the opportunity, try it like this later 😊

I had the same situation with the Fino mask and the Tsubaki mask. Unfortunately both weighed down my hair and it looked greasy the next day. Same experience with the fino mask! I tried leaving on for a few mins, 30 mins & after another hair mask… nothing made my hair feel or look great! But I do have a thermal brush like that one and I use it to curl my hair (holding it vertically)… I have another hot brush that’s like the tymo one with almost comb looking fins that straightens better… you might want to give that a try? It would be like stacking flat iron plates with some room to fit the hair through. But the wavy talk brush curls better with the right technique and is the only way I can style my curtain bangs 😂

FINO hair mask didn't work on my hair unfortunately. I have fine and low porosity so that is the reason why. It tangled my hair leading to breakage and a gummy feeling no matter how much I used. Even after watching Audrey Victoria explain that you have to put it on shampooed-rinsed hair and leave for 20 mins, it was just a long process and annoying, but didn't work haha. I think the texture you felt was the royal jelly which is their selling point lol. The Tsubaki mask is awesome for me though and it smells so much better. I have Asian hair too if that matters.

The Redken products worked beautifully on my hair and it was shiny and the ends were conditioned and it was nicely soft and combable even when wet. However I did not know that peroxide was the active ingredient for the shine. In the early part of the 70s a shine shampoo came out with peroxide as the shine ingredient. I cannot remember the brand but it was not a professional product.
