Glad to hear you're ok! We're in the Tampa area. It's bittersweet living in Florida when a hurricane turns away from you because you know it's still bad news for someone else. We never got directly hit, but we did get a bit of wind damage to our roof. As for the Florida driver meme, lol... spot on!

My cousin lives in Fort Myers and he and his family lost everything. 💔 You are right when I asked him at the beginning how things were he said they would be safe as Ian was not expected there. Then I heard from his sister he had to be evacuated. I can't imagine having to go through that! 😢 Glad all went well with you and your family. Continue to be safe.

Hello Kesenja I'm a new subscriber to your channel and I was also hit by hurricane Ian. I live 25 minutes from Sarasota close to the island and it was really bad here. Not as bad as Fort Myers, but we got hit pretty strong. We lost power for almost 2 days, but we got it back yesterday thank God. My heart goes out to everyone who was impacted by this horrible hurricane and pray to God that everyone is doing ok and is safe. I really enjoy your channel and I'm glad that you and your Family are safe.

My heart goes to all in aftermath of Ian. I went through Charley & Frances in 2004. NOT FUN. Over a month without power. We cheered when we saw out of state electric company trucks coming down our street.

I’m so glad to hear that you and your family are safe and sound with minimal damage after hurricane Ian. The nightmare and devastation it caused is unreal. Sarasota was hit and it was super scary to listen to the winds while we were riding the storm out inside the house with hurricane shutters down. Our dog was anxious and couldn’t go outside for the bathroom, so that was also rough. We sustained damage to the trees, the fence and pool cage screens, and we lost power and internet for four days straight, but the house is fine, so that’s very fortunate especially when there are people who got flooded or lost their homes or lives. 😢🥺

I'm also in Florida and luckily we did not get any damage. I really wanted to love wicked vanilla woods, but I just can't. I smelled it several times and just couldn't take the wood note. Now snowflakes and cashmere is absolutely beautiful. I am currently using it and can't get enough of it. I will definitely get more this year

I'm so glad you're safe and I loved the video! My fave b&bw fall scent is Autumn Violets. I think it came out last year. I'm not even sure I like the scent of violet, but the scent is amazing. It hovers near clean and fresh but not quite, it hovers below that kinda, and it's sort of floral, but it's cozy. It doesn't smell like Cozy Season but it reminds me of it!

Not from Florida but we come every summer to the gulf and I loved Ft Myers Beach and Venice. It was so sad to see the devastation just as a visitor, I can't imaging being close by. I'm in NC, where we also get hurricanes but generally not as bad as the gulf. Glad you and yours are ok!

I love wicked vanilla woods, and sweet whiskey. Those are my top two right now and probably for a long time because they are beautiful! Sweet whiskey is about 80% similar to Milk by Commodity which is my favorite perfume ever.

I’ve sampled all three though because again, love it, and they were all amazing though bold was almost a bit much and just a couple sprays was enough.

I live near fort myers, most of the places I know is gone and even our hospitals are flooded and had to evacuate. A bunch of cars were flooded!

The devastation in Florida is really heartbreaking, those videos where hard to watch and imagine. Glad your area was not hit quite as bad. I remember hurricane Floyd In 1999, we lost power for over two weeks and we couldn’t leave the house for over a week because of flooding, it was very scary. I am in VA so we didn’t get to much this time but we did lose power for a couple of hours. As far as the fall scents my favs are pumpkin pecan waffles, and the pumpkin latte one. I actually love almond is fragrance is one of my fav notes and love the Almond blossom one, yummy!!!❤

My family loves watching Halloweentown! It was my favorite when I was a teenager, and I am old enough that I remember taping it from the Disney Channel and watching that tape over and over again. As far as fragrance, the difference between winter and fall scents for me is that while both tend to be more sweet, fall scents for me need to have something more than just sweet - something spicy or woody or smokey, that adds a little something more. You make me want to try Bath and Body Works mists again, and I have migraines triggered with the sweet fruity scents they mostly put out. I used to even be bothered by the smell of my niece when she was working there and living with us, it was like that smell seeped into her pores. You are a pretty great salesperson, they should put you on their payroll!

I spent 2.5 years outside of Pensacola FL , Sally was my only bigger Hurricane experience and we lived 40 minutes from the coast so not too much went on at our home but it was scary to go down to actual Pensacola and see what went on. My husband is military and no one was allowed to evacuate 🫠

Glad you and your family are okay. We had Hurricane Michael Cat 5 with 162 mph winds. The number of fatalities is up to 87+. There are discrepancies because they are still doing search and rescue. Hurricane Ian will most likely be upgraded to a Category 5 because the bark on the trees are stripped bare indicating 155+ mph winds were present. Praying for people to recover. It's going to be a long haul. We are 4 years post hurricane and we are still cleaning up debris and storm damage. Please check in on your elderly people. Some old folks have no family, no children, and they do need help. Some need food and water delivered to them. If you can donate, please do. These elderly people will need all the help they can get, especially if they have no family. We as a community have to be their extended family.

How horrific! We actually had power after hurricane Ian, but our elderly neighbor called the power company to report a down wire and they turned the electricity off on our street for four days straight. Which we just got back today… I went to check on this same elderly neighbor to make sure he was ok and he was cooking on his gas grill and was better off than we were doing! In the meantime, our groceries were going bad and we had to eat out and charge our phones in the restaurant or coffee house. Of course we are grateful to be alive, but this past week has been rough, not to mention we have damage to our property. So basically the elderly Floridians are equipped much better for this kind of weather than younger transplants 😉

I’ve heard of some people having fragrance mists for 5+ years that they still use and still smells good! I think as long as you store them in a dark and cool place they should still be good 😊

@@ksenja6023 i have both and i will do a side by side test for you guys. Ok, i sprayed both and they are very similar. I took a long walk and now I can say that Almond Blossom is creamier and Philosophy is more sugary as stated above, like Warm Vanilla Sugar. They definitely share notes, though.
