This was FNM’s biggest hit single, but I didn’t get into ‘em ‘til a few years later, with the next album. I went over to a buddy’s house and he was blasting it, and I just fell in line and grooved too. Lead vocalist Mike Patton was so young here he couldn’t grow a beard yet. But he went on to improve and polish his singing, and also increase his range like crazy. This is a rare band ‘cause they’ve done not only rock, but some funk, rap, thrash, using horns and even a choir.

One of my favourites from the late 80's and 90's. People said they were trying to copy the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Newsflash. Faith No More formed first. Following Aerosmith and Run DMC and 'Walk this way in 1986', a fusion of rap and metal music became a thing. Mike Patton was the second vocalist after Chuck Moseley was fired. Chuck sang vocals on a previous track, 'We care a lot' which is worth a listen if only for the superb bass guitar.

I have seen F. N. M 3 times. They are amazing live. The 1st time I saw them they, were supporting Guns n' Roses at Wembley stadium. Now. The word is that Mike Patton was Axl Roses favourite frontman. After seeing Faith no more it was obvious that the "word" was not only spot on. But Axl saw Mike Patton as a real threat. Peace out.

I've been a fan of Faith No More ever since this album came out. And yea, Epic is a great song. But I'll usually listen to Falling to Pieces, or Underwater Love. Both of those songs are what comes to mind when I think of this album. But I will say this, the ending scene to me is one of the greatest moments in music video history. The fish flops, and the piano blows up!! 🤘😂🎸🎶 But that's just my opinion
