Doesn't matter if it is this week or next. He is coming for the starting position. Wanya is barely starting caliber and Kingsley is at least a season away to get stronger and learn. When we drafted him we knew he was a project. I would be A OK with signing him back after this season. When healthy he is an above average to really good LT in this league. And we have been hunting for that for a few years. Basically since Fisher left.

Even if he gives Mahomes space on 12 more passing attempts per game then this was brilliant. 12 fewer times with the pressure he’s had and say he connects on 9/12, well then we know what’s gonna happen. More 1st, bigger plays, more points and the pundits can finally shut up. Oh and 1 to 2 fewer sacks means less wear and tear and lessens the chance for a freak injury.
