fun fact abt the pokemon lore bit: in the japanese copies for the gen 4 games there's a library that actually talks abt pokemon marriage. it's nowhere near as graphic as the leaks and i don't remember the exact quote bit it explains how pokemon and people used to "basically be the same" which is why marriage between the 2 was so common. so this concept has been around for over a decade now.

Sween has this misconception that it is a requirement to beef with other artists to be considered great. Andre 3000 has not made a rap album with Big Boi in decades and people still talk about him having one of the best pens of all time; not a single rap beef can be mentioned in the conversation of his rap legacy. Other artists who never relied on or entered rap beefs are MF DOOM, Tribe Called Quest, Black Thought, and list can go on. The issue I have with Cole is claiming to be something he is not, especially when there is no need for him to. He already has the great body of work, longevity, and influence. There is no need to be a tough, braggadocios rapper, when countless artists before you have laid out the blueprint for greatness without the reliance on starting problems with others. Nothing inherently wrong with going back on what you say, but when it is so frequent, your apologies are disingenuous.
