Very interesting Sensei. My greatest problem is my bow grip. Being a former massage therapist I appreciate the spiritual aspects, as well as a low kimidache (horse stance). All good advice with two caviots of distinction. One you can not change everything all at once, and two, everyone is different for a miriad if reasons, thus tweeks to these techniques must apply.

That balance on the ball of your feet got me thinking. This is why I find it most natural to lean forward when shooting. And it's what most traditional shooters do I think. The point being feeling as relaxed as you can be while executing the shot. And your wrist going left on release is perfect for an asiatic bow. I guess not so good for a centershot bow. By the way, this is an awesome series, very informative.

One I had the chance to book an experienced coach when I was on business trip in New Jersey. He also had me shooting without sling and he catched (his) bow. Was scary the first few shots. Really. But it gave me a first real experience how it feels to have less tension in the bow hand.

I still have trouble about the KSL hooking method. So I'm supposed to squeeze the spacer? But by doing that I feel alot of tension on the back of my hand and my finger still cannot get evenly spaced. Is there any detail I'm missing for the hooking?
@NUSensei4 жыл бұрын
The key is to squeeze the base of the spacer so that the fingers are parallel. When fully drawn, the fingernails of the top two fingers should not be seen from the side. Tension in the back of the hand is fine. If you cannot squeeze the spacer to get this finger alignment, your finger spacer might be the wrong size or position.

I just got a nice 35 pound recurve bow and I can't get the arrows to stop fishtailing I use.400 spine arrows does anyone have any tips
@agusetijotriabadi62294 жыл бұрын
400 is too stiff for that poundage I would recommend you get a 800 spine arrow and cut them to your draw length.

@@jerryjerry1731 There are many reasons an arrow can fish tail, google it.
