You can always centre parts by pressing F and switching to absolute mode, then you can offset them into position. Great tutorial by the way, I've subscribed!

Ah, Some people might have to change somthing in the game flies to allow the shift key to work, im not sure how to do this but if you look on some other tutorials it will show you how to do so :)

hmmm, after you reset the trim on the plane, you may need to trim it a little the other way, that might help.

Yeah, I gave it a go but it wasnt having any of it...It may well be a console only problem, I made your props into a two prop engine plane with opposing rotations which worked great!

Personally don't like using separators if I can get away with docking ports given situations you want to lock the propeller while its landed. Had situations where the propellers despawn.

Alright I fixed the issue by going to the steam folder and modified the ksp data! I successfully made the Aeris 3a use a propeller and it goes about 60 meters/second

If you need to you can also use cheats, turn on autocouple or something like that, and then attach a nose come to the back of your other nose cone. Then remove the second cone and you can offset where ever you want
