Pro Tip: Use Waterfall mod for liquid engines, it really improves on the FPS +It gives the game a realistic look

Interesting. Am having to make a wide amount of changes to get it working which is fine. As I use the craft file for ideals. I had to added sepratrons so it would get passed the ullage requirement to start the engine on the next stage on the first launch. Normally I use 2.5m parts for small stations like this one so, I had to make those changes along with adding life support.

You don't have to use the claw to make a canadarm. because closed hinges have colliders, you can close a hinge and that will lock the 2 crafts together

Haven't built an ISS replica but i have built a space station inspired by Mir and the ISS, and i have also built 2 interplanetary motherships that are hella big :D

im building the iss with your craft files and every time I try to maneuver Zarya to dock with Unity the solar panels always break ive tried locking the hinges and they still broke

I'm not sure, this has not happened to me in testing and I was not able to replicate it. I assume you launched Zarya more than once to make sure there was not a random launch hiccup?

its very hard to get unity in the right position for it to look good docked because usually when i do it its all to the side and not straight but i also use mechjeb

If it helps I tend to rush docking then once docked I undock and then redock while sorting out the roll orientation. In the newer versions of KSP1 you should also be able to do this while docked using the docking port settings too.

AS far as I understand, patreon followers get early access to craft files but after few days everyone can download it.

yes, if the claw is not attached properly when undocking unity will jump out, you just catch up and redock. This is much quicker than using the claw.

The historic video and your KSP flight is wonderful to see, but the "background" music is just a little to loud. It was hard to hear some of the historic video's audio. Just an FYI.

The project became larger than it was supposed to be and mixing in the audio was hard to do at the stage I did it due to its quality however I've setup the next video template to account for this so in future it should come through clearer ;)
