The Kalpan cockpit reminds me of the command and crew section of the Morning Star, a small freighter in a SciFi series by the Swedish author George Johansson. The first book was published in 1979. The ship was designed for freight runs within our solar system, and was capable of atmospheric take off and landing. Aside from the cockpit, which looked like a cross between a small jetliner and the old space shuttle, the ship looked pretty much like a flying barn door. It consisted mostly of a giant "wing", which contained the cargo bays and had the thrusters on the rear edge. It would be kind of interesting to see that design attempted in KSP, actually...

Hey, so in Balto-the-Wolf-Dog's mod, that screen that says "thou shalt count to three " is a reference to Monte Python's Holy Hand Granade. If you're not familiar with the bit, look it up, you will be glad you did.

all the names are hindi / sanskrit names also kalpan means imagine and kalpana means imagination , asima is pronounced aseema which means limitless , bhatak means duck or swan and naga means snake , dekhana is a verb which means : to show or visible when a noun , neereksha means hope and expectation , sadhak means to accomplish .

Honestly there are better mods when it comes to narrow-body airframes. IRRC there's a 737 cockpit mod that might be more what you're looking for. I know the 737 is technically a widebody, but I imagine it's a lot closer than the futuristic stuff I've been working on. (forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/129964-advanced-cockpit-b737-style-iva-cockpit-with-functional-systems/). I may develop one of my own regardless though, depending on degree of boredom. This project is a timewaster of mine though, so I won't promise anything.

to be good at spaceplanes, you need to build your (in this case scramjets) into the wings, no build some wings, mount the engines on, then build more wings off of it, like ur doing

Review AB launchers, a great 5m part mod with the parts of the second most powerful launcher to have ever been launched succesfuly (Energia-95t to LEO) and even its never build due to budget constraints Vulkan version-200t to LEO and also Zenit. Very good mod, but the RD-170/1 engine (the most powerful engine in the world) has way too low ISP to be realistic. The RD-0120 also has that problem, but it's still great.

dark shun Old or not; it's still relevant. I have no idea what you've done, then, because that's how you should be building spaceplanes. All of mine follow those principals, and they're all flight worthy. Some even reach hypersonic speeds.

+KottabosGames Thought the same :D You should take a look at the B9 procedural wing mod (I think it is mad/continued by Fork), it's a must-have for spaceplanes and FAR. It lets you change wing sweep, span, thickness, tip and root chord and stuff like this. Together with FAR you can build quite realistic planes :)
