Ksp2 is pretty much locked to 30fps or less with major game breaking bugs that occur all the time, next to no mod support (currently), and lacks content. Ksp1 on the other hand.. sure the mighty KRAKEN will rise but its way more stable and has infinitely replayability

Matt, you should definately check FREE_IVA mod (which allows move freely in IVA between parts and modules) with DE_IVA_Extended, which adds superior monitors to IVA in different command posts. Immersion with those mods literally skyrocketing, expetially in the bases

One note of caution about the way you unzip/merged the folders from the mod: this is not the way Finder behaves on Mac and if you’re not careful you can very easily overwrite the existing contents of all those folders. I learned this the hard way so please be careful 😅

O hey Matt, I rewatched your moon buggy race and you mentioned maybe doing it on other worlds. It's just so much fun but I think we all forgot about it for some reason. Just an idea from the past. :) Lego! :D The satellite is made of sterner stuff! (lol) You know, watching missions can be more fun than I thought. :) It's partly the different requirements of the mission, partly the delivery. :) LOL Matt losing it in a whole new way! "Wow this UI is tiny in 4K." - lol this made me laugh. Yeah the first lesson I learned when I got a 4K monitor years ago was, just because I "can" run a game in 4K, doesn't mean I "should". The tiny UI's in games that weren't built for it were just so uncomfortable to use. And some old game engines just start acting weird when you push them to full 4K with hitching and glitches even when your hardware is more than capable. Eventually chose to move back down to 1440p because I found it to be the best balance between resolution, usability and performance. Recently bumped up to 1440p ultrawide (3440x1440) as its considerably closer to a 4K resolution experience (when taking a 4K Ultrawide experience into account which turns out to be 3840x1600) while maintaining the performance and scaling compatibility of 1440p.

Matt, for your Colony mod video, there is a mod that lets you walk around in IVA mode so you can see the interior as a Kerbal would see it. It's called FreeIVA and it's really interesting to use. Give it a try, you might like it!

As a matter of fact, some of the French rockets in the Knes mod by Well are built with 4 cores strapped to each other... That ugly but effective. You really should take a look at it. Micro scale space stations and mini scale shuttles, all sorts of rockets to launch everything, from a cat capsule to abandoned British capsule projects !!! -yes you can go British spacecraft with this mod !!! As for RFA, they know how to touch people, a KSP mod by THEMSELVES and a LEGO set no less ! Why SpaceX doesn't do it??? Come on Elon ! BTW, the ex Simple Rockets 2; known as Juno also features Parallax by Lynx !!!

EVE (maybe even the patreon version if you want volumetric clouds), Scatterer, Distant object enhancement and planet shine should be the main graphic mods for this game. If you want to go a bit further you can get the parallax mod and textures unimited. if you want the vanilla parts to look better then you can get restock.
