Fun fact on the Verner engines. Those aren't actually separate engines at all. They are actually just a separate novel for the turbo pump exhaust gases that the Russians were smart enough to realize that if you gimbal it you can use it to control the rocket. The soyuz actually only has one "engine" per booster segment and each engine just has four combustion chambers/bells with the vernier engines.

If on the descent module you put an engine plate-18 before the heat shield it looks really good and doesn't leave empty gaps when you decouple the shield.

if your referring to when I put the decoupler on the spark at the bottom of the Soyuz. I did that because the shroud would have been slightly longer with the engine plate and I felt like the fairing was already too big so I did the decoupler to keep the fairing size down

You actually have to separate the engine skirt after separating the terrier stage and you have to ignite the terriers 1 second before second stage sep

oh yeah just to know before you do the deorbit burn you have to first jettison the orbital module cuz that how the ussr used to do it

For the engine shroud, I used structural tubing instead of fairings. looks wayyyy cleaner. Well, my first version used fairings, but I thought of using structural tubing instead during a walk.

@@lattmowne201 because restock looks way better than many stock designs it was originally designed before many parts got visual overhauls, so many of the best looking parts now that rival ReStock were once extraordinarily ugly ReStock has less use now due to the visual overhauls making stock KSP look better than it did in early versions, and due to the fact that it still hasn't updated to include the custom-horn RCS blocks, but on the other hand Restock also adds its own parts in the optional second mod Restock+, and of course there are people who swear by the beauty of Restock over the stock designs to this day, as well as people who still play on older versions of KSP (where the parts are uglier) because of nostalgia or mod compatibility
