Honda Pilot 2010.
In this video we show how to test for a faulty purge solenoid.
As stated in the video we previously tested the solenoid on the charcoal canister.

I have acura rdx 2007 i have the code p145c and p0497 i already replace all the evap systems new already did smoke test and all evrythjng works. What could be the problem. I already replaced purge valve, canister, fuel sensor, charcoal filter and gas cap. Weird Symptom the car has is whenver i fill up gas it would die at rhe first start rpm drips down to zero then next starts normal. It only happens when i fill it up with new gas

It's possible for gas cap light to come on....but it did not in this case.

What do you call for that solenoid? Is it a purge valve solenoid?

Its challenging to get those tiny hoses off in such tight space.

I usually pinch the ends with pliers to help loosen the ends. It makes it a little easier

I put 9v to the vavle and heard it click. Could it still be faulty?
